Pros: available, budget-friendly, can be used without powder, lightweight coverage, natural finish, suits oily skin
Cons: flakes off when contacts with water, non-hygienic packaging, shows flaking

Hello everybody! I was waiting so much for this product to appear in my local beauty store! There are a lot of foundations in my collection which look pink on me. So,

The price: $7.99

Size: 25 ml. The jar is made of glass and has a plastic matte screw top.

This sticker indicates whether the jar was opened before you, or you are the first one to do it.

Under the plastic top, there’s a stopper to prevent air from getting into the jar. But, actually, I don’t like the packaging at all, as I have to put my finger into it, which isn’t very hygienic. I like all my products with a pump or packed in a tube.

The expiration date is written on the packaging, which is convenient, as it can’t be lost and I can check it from time to time.

The smell. It really smells like cucumber. And the CUCUMIS SATIVUS FRUIT EXTRACT is actually listed in the ingredients.

Ingredients:

AQUA/WATER/EAU, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, TALC, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, POLYMETHYL METHACRYLATE, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, MYRISTIC/PALMITIC/STEARIC/RICINOLEIC/EICOSANEDIOIC GLYCERIDES, SORBETH-30 TETRAISOSTEARATE, KAOLIN, GLYCERIN, DICAPRYLYL ETHER, DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, SORBITAN SESQUIISOSTEARATE, ACRYLATES/BEHENETH-25 METHACRYLATE COPOLYMER, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, CHLORPHENESIN, SODIUM PCA, PPG-8-CETETH-20, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, XANTHAN GUM, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE,POLYURETHANE-14, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, DIMETHICONOL, DISODIUM EDTA, AMP-ACRYLATES COPOLYMER, BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-1, HEXYL CINNAMAL, LIMONENE, DEXTRIN LMITATE, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE, AMINOMETHYL PROPANOL, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, LINALOOL, GERANIOL, BHT, TOCOPHEROL, CITRONELLOL, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE, CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA(MATRICARIA) EXTRACT, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, ALGAE EXTRACT, LEUCONOSTOC/RADISH ROOT FERMENT FILTRATE, CITRIC ACID, ASCORBIC ACID, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM SULFITE, SODIUM BENZOATE, [MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR/+/-:TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)].

Talc is the third ingredient, so be careful if you are afraid of clogging your pores. The consistency is creamy and a tad gelly, it gives lightweight coverage. This product will definitely be loved by those who love a natural finish and “your skin but better” effect. It won’t hide any well visible imperfections, or create a mask on your face, but will make your face look better than before. Be careful, as the product can highlight your pores and make them more visible.

The first photo below is my skin BEFORE, and the second is AFTER. I applied it one layer. My color is 200c with a yellow undertone.

The finish isn’t matte, it’s satin but it really looks like moisturized and healthy skin! This product can fix on your face. After you apply it, it like dries and doesn’t move any more. My skin is of combination type, prone to oily and I don’t have to use my powder, as the product stays on well even without it. I can blot only my T-zone, where oily shine isn’t desired at all. The product looks different in different light. Sometimes it’s more glowy, sometimes it looks matte. BUT, there’s one thing you should know about. If my skin comes into contact with something wet, then the product flakes off my skin. In the photo below I applied some setting spray too see how they would work together. Of course, it didn’t disappear completely, no, some of the product had stayed. But, it’s better not to wear it when it’s raining, or to the gym. It suits for the office job perfectly well.

One more peculiarity of this product is that it doesn’t suit dry skin, as it shows flaking. So, this product will look well on normal, combination or oily skin types.

Overall: it’s a good budget-friendly product for almost every skin type, except for dry skin.

I decided to renew my review and share my impressions after a month of using this product. You won’t believe it, but I’m so fed up with this cucumber smell! And I also found out that this foundation doesn’t only shows flaking, but actually this product is the reason why I have it! I noticed that the product gives oily shine in 4 hours of wearing and it vanishes off after 5 hours completely! If I spritz it with water or setting spray, it’ll look patchy, leaving some “bare” spots on my face.

When to apply this foundation on then? Maybe if you go to the cinema, or just walk outside for a couple of hours. This product won’t live through the working day (tested and failed).

That’s all for now.

I hope that you have found some interesting information in my review.

Have pleasant shopping.

Bye! Smile
