Hello, pretties! Recently the American ColourPop brand released their new Jelly Much eyeshadow collection. And of course, being a makeup junkie, it was torture for me to withstand. So, now I’m here to share my thoughts on it.
Meet the brand new ColourPop Jelly Much Eyeshadow!
The packaging is cardboard, frills-free, yet still cute. The jars with the contents are made of plastic with a see-through basement. It’s so handy to see what color is inside, especially if you possess a big collection.
The lettering is holographic on the top caps.
Size - 6.5g (it’ll go a long way since I need only a tiny bit for one use).
Made in the USA.
The jars offer a plastic protective membrane inside. The unique water-based formula is the reason why you should protect the jars from the air and keep them closed as much as possible.
The products really remind me of a jelly texture-wise. They are soft, yet bouncy and I can dent them with my finger, though the product will even itself out within some time. These eyeshadows are wet and cool to the touch but in fact, they are really creamy. The texture is really unusual and unique, I haven’t seen anything of that kind before.
As promised, the ColourPop managed to create massive pigmentation of their products! The first swipe already ensures smooth and bright color coverage. I appreciate their blending because I can easily blend them out into a subtle smokey effect even with my fingers. It isn’t a problem to layer the formula. Nothing cracks or creases.
They take about 30-50 seconds to set and then they are sure to stay put till the moment I remove them. I wear this formula without any eyeshadow primers.
Micellar water is a quick remedy to remove them. The products aren’t waterproof.
The Jelly Much collection offers 8 eyeshadow shades and today I’ll show you 3 of them.
We Jammin' - golden-white duochrome shade.
Half Moon - crimson brown with a teal gasoline casting. A duochrome shade. In the pan, this very eyeshadow reminds me of my granny with her black-currant jam.
Once&Floral - orange-red-pink duochrome shade.

And a less intense and blended out look.
The products shine beautifully in the sun as well as in the shadow, even though they don’t have any chunky glistening particles in the formula.
The performance of the
ColourPop Jelly Much eyeshadows on my eyes is the same as on the swatches - awesome. I use them solo, as well as wear with some other shades.
We Jammin' shade + some colors from the ColourPop Mar eyeshadow palette:
Shade Once&Floral along with the products from the Lime Crime Venus I palette:
Shade Half Moon adorned with the products from the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions eyeshadow palette:
The new launch of the ColourPop Jelly Much Eyeshadow has turned out to be such a success! Formula-wise, these are more pliant and easier to work with, in comparison with the ColourPop Supernova Shadow, for example.
Alluring shades, good staying power, multi-taskers, affordable price - how is it possible to pass by and not fall for them?
Price - $8 for an item.
Thanks for your attention and have a pleasant shopping day!
