Hello there!
ColourPop keeps on treating us with their palettes released in collaboration with famous people. And this time, I couldn’t pass by this palette which was released along with Iluvsarahii.
Through My Eyes, Colourpop x Iluvsarahii
◌◌ Packaging ◌◌
The palette was covered with a very beautiful box with Karen herself on it.
They list all the shades on the back of the box.
As for the palette, it’s made of a thick emerald dark green cardboard. It looks much heavier than it is. The back also has all the shades listed.
The top cap is magnetic and it opens up widely.
Here we can see a mirror featured inside, which is such a rare occasion for the ColourPop palettes.
◌◌Description ◌◌
Since there are mainly warm-toned shades in this palette, you probably won’t be able to come up with cool-toned makeup. There are 9 matte and 7 metallic shades. All in all 16 refill pans, 1g each.
Shade-wise, I can make out 3 main colors - warm rusty-brown, mauve-pink and emerald.

All the swatches were applied with my finger with no primer.
In the swatches, the shades Emerald Dream and Moody really stand out with their green-blue shades and warm undertones.
Also, some shades will not look advantageous on your eyes solo because their base is rather staining.
Lucido- A fair golden metallic shade which is best to apply with your finger. It’s super packed with pigments and not dusty. It’s soft in the refill but not as soft as the Lime Crime eyeshadows.
Some chunky shimmering specks can fall out but I don’t find it crucial.
Dimethicone, Boron Nitride, Magnesium Stearate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Lauroyl Lysine, Dimethiconol, Phenoxyethanol, Talc, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Wild Soul- Bright yellow matte shade, which is no way less pigmented. It jumps on my skin well, as well as packs. It’s velvet texture-wise, not dusty and doesn't fall out.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140).
Mesmer-Eyez- Warm rusty brown metallic shade. It can be applied beautifully with a brush as well as with fingers. It’s the same as Lucido in texture. This is that very shade which can be staining. There are a lot of finely milled glitter bits.
Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ptfe, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Magnesium Myristate, Lauroyl Lysine, Jojoba Esters, Phenoxyethanol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Silica, Tin Oxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Acacia Decurrens Extract, Polyglycerin-3, Dimethicone, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Carmine (CI 75470), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Mica (CI 77019), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Sandalwood- Warm beige matte shade which doesn’t stain my skin or fall out. It’s too dark to wear alone but you’ll like using it as a basic color if your skin is tanned.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
In a Wink- Off-white beige shade, which I wear all over my mobile lid. It’s matte and not too dusty. It applies smoothly, the blending and pigmentation are nice.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Mica (CI 77019), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Euphoric- Pigmented orange-red matte shade. Like all the other shades, this one isn’t dusty and packs well.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Mica (CI 77019), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140).
Canela- Matte warm fair brown shade with some golden sparkling beads. It’s a good matte shade which packs and blends beautifully.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Talc, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Lomo- Awesome warm pink metallic. It’s nicely pigmented though there are some issues about it. It’s drier than the other metallics. I don’t recommend wearing over your nude skin however, it doesn’t want to sit over some shades either. This is the least favorite shade of mine. Maybe one day I’ll manage to tame it but now it’s the most staining of all.
Dimethicone, Aluminum Calcium Sodium Silicate, Boron Nitride, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Dimethiconol, Phenoxyethanol, Talc, Caprylyl Glycol, Palmitic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Mica (CI 77019), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 28 Lake (CI 45410), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985)
Emerald Dream- This is the shade that made me buy this palette. Emerald green shimmering shade with blue speckle. It’s an awesome accenting color. I apply it exceptionally with a flat synthetic brush because it’s useless and graceless until it’s packed. The packing is fabulous by the way.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Zinc Stearate, Lauryl Laurate, Silica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate , Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Polyethylene, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Mineral Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Tin Oxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140).
Muze- Soft bronzing shimmering shade. It’s also dope for accents. It applies well and doesn’t fall out.
Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ptfe, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Magnesium Myristate, Lauroyl Lysine, Jojoba Esters, Phenoxyethanol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Silica, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Acacia Decurrens Extract, Polyglycerin-3, Dimethicone, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Divina- Deep-toned aubergine shade with warm undertones. One more shade that I don’t recommend wearing on your eyes. It’s nicely packed with pigments but it’s not so easy to apply.
It’s staining and it never blends out with ease.
Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Talc, Dimethiconol, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Carmine (CI 75470), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035).
Flecks- When I applied this shade on my eyes for the first time, it seemed like a gorgeous semi-sheer shimmering shade. But in life, it’s more ash-brown color with chunky shimmer, even though it looks mauve gray in the refill.
It’s soft and sparkling. No fallout or dusting.
Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ptfe, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Magnesium Myristate, Lauroyl Lysine, Jojoba Esters, Phenoxyethanol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Silica, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Acacia Decurrens Extract, Polyglycerin-3, Dimethicone, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Nostalgia- Warm matte peach shade. As all the matte shades, this one is also well packed with pigments, however, it’s tricky to blend out.
Boron Nitride, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Dimethicone, Zinc Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Lauroyl Lysine, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140).
Moody- Beautiful dark green matte shade. Pigmented, easy to pack but a tad difficult to blend.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Nocturne- Red-pink metallic shade, which is free of any shimmer. Soft and nice to pack. No fallout, simple blending.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Dimethicone, Lauroyl Lysine, Polyethylene, Magnesium Myristate, Boron Nitride, Dimethiconol, Phenoxyethanol, Ptfe, Tin Oxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Missbehave- Dark pink matte shade, which may stain my skin. It has the same issues as the shades similar to it - tricky blending but easy packing.
Boron Nitride, Aluminum Calcium Sodium Silicate, Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Lauroyl Lysine, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Carmine (CI 75470), Mica (CI 77019), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035).
No matter how good my eyeshadows are, they still crease on my eyes. My eyelids are hooded and oily. They won’t last for more than 2 hours if I don’t wear a primer.
If I do, they stay on better and longer.
Almost all the shades are fuss-free to apply, except the shades Divina and Lomo. They are all easy to blend and mix together.
The entire palette looks harmonious and there aren’t any odd shades.
I can’t highlight any shade there. Well, stop, I guess I can. Emerald Dream was a game changer for me. I also appreciate the presence of the basic shades like Sandalwood, In A Wink, and Canela. They are essential for simple and fair eye makeup for everyday.
Here are some makeup examples.
◌◌Overall◌◌
Through My Eyes is a perfect palette. One can easily create bright, bold, accentuated as well as basic makeups with it.
Unfortunately, it won’t touch the hearts of everybody but it will definitely flatter all people who cherish warm-toned eyeshadows.
For me, it’s a must-have because I adore all warm and red shades.
The cool ones aren’t my cup of tea at all.
Highly recommended! Especially if you don’t dread vibrant makeups.
I hope that my review was informative for you♥
Have a pleasant shopping day!
