This is my first purchase from the new Dior Backstage collection. I bought my palette in the shade #003 because when I swatched it in the store, it seemed to be the most well-packed with pigments. Besides, I never fear red shades in my makeup. :)This collection differs from previous launches design-wise. You see, some people say such packaging looks too cheap and not high-end at all. But I like it. Moreover, here the palette has a see-through top cap which will be super handy for professionals so they won’t have to open the palette each time looking for the right shade. The collection was created for the professionals.

Each refill has the Dior sign which wipes off over time though. You can witness it in the pictures.

As for the shades, they might seem too vibrant and active at first glance. One might even have a thought that it’ll be impossible to fit this palette into daily makeup because only those red-toned shades catch the eye.
But in life, you can easily pair golden and brown shades or that sandy and brown one and come up with a makeup that will be awesome for daily life. Unfortunately, the golden shade which is more like golden pressed glitter here and the sandy color are the least pigmented ones and require packing or fingertip application for an adequate color payoff.
In the pictures, they are almost invisible.

Other shades are soft texture-wise and they’re well-packed with the colors. When I blend them out, they never turn into a mess on my eyes.
Also, I’d like to mention the primer here. It’ll be so advantageous for every newbie.

And here’s one of my makeups done with this palette. I also applied a red glitter topper there.

In general, I’m very pleased with this palette. I especially like the formula of eyeshadows. But still, I don’t think the palette is enough. For me, it lacks blending shades.
