This is one more disappointing product for me which was rather pricey, you know. This time it turned out to be the Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Blushing Crème. It’s a stick-shaped face blusher.
Package: At first I liked the way it looked. The design and the colors of the packaging seemed to be very eye-catching and flattering to me. But within 2 years of use I noticed that the metal stick started to look weary and scratched.
The stick twists up and down which is rather understandable.
Size - 8 g.
There’s some pleasant and sweet fragrance to the product which really reminds me of dessert.
My color is called 01 - Sweet Cheeks. It’s very pleasant to look at and I like such colors as they really enliven my complexion making me look fresh and beautiful.
The blush is very easy to apply and blend out. The consistency is buttery yet not greasy.
The color is cool-toned and pink.
On my face this color looks beautiful, fresh and I can see some glowing effect on my cheeks. Everything seems to be perfect about it.
But the effect stays there for literally only 5 minutes. After that time, the blush fades leaving no hint of its presence on my skin.
I want to tell you that my skin isn’t oily at all.
I’ve tried many ways of application and I’ve also tried to apply it over different foundation, but the result was always the same.
Once I had almost the same blush stick from the Essence brand and I can assure you that it offered a hundred times better wear time.
I’m really disappointed with this product and I can use this stick only when I go shopping to the nearest shop. I can’t wear it for longer distances as it’ll fade completely too quickly. But you know, I don’t want to spend 36 bucks for a product that I can wear just to go to the nearest shop. Nonsense!
But still I can say it for sure that the highlighter by the brand is just fab.
