I can’t say that I’m raving about multi-purpose cosmetic products, as I just don’t understand them - how is it possible to use one and the same product for your lips, cheeks and sometimes they even offer us to use the same product for the eyes...
Yet still, I was very interested to try the Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Blushing Creme For Lips And Cheeks and it wasn’t only because of its tender pink shade which is called Sweet Cheeks.
Package: the product comes with a simple silver tube and it twists like a lipstick, only bigger in size. By the way, the size is the main reason why I find this product difficult to apply on my lips.
The smell is difficult to notice, though it’s there and it’s sweet. I wish it was more scented with some light floral notes.
The product is infused with the hyaluronic acid which is such an advantage.
The product goes a really long way but I can’t say that I use it very often. Unfortunately this stick hasn’t become my favorite.
It applies on the cheeks with a weightless layer and blends out easily. If I use it as a lipstick, then I really like the color it gives.
The wear time of this product is less than average. It stays on my lips till the first bite and I don’t know how but it fades from my cheeks within 2 or 3 hours completely. It feels as though it sinks into my skin. I guess a makeup setting spray might have saved the situation, but unfortunately I don’t have it.
For me, I decided to use this stick only as a lip product, as it applies very delicately, doesn’t dry out my lips or crease with a white film. As a blush product, this stick is a treat, even though the color looks very re-freshening to my complexion.
It’s a three-star product for me. But I still admit that if you manage to find the right way how to use it, (with a setting spray, for example) then it may be a good blusher with a decent wear time.
