To be honest, I didn’t want to buy this highlighter. I looked at it, swatched it and went away. But later that day I bought it, and I don’t regret this purchase, even though it’s pretty pricey.
Estee Lauder and Victoria Beckham launched a makeup collection which includes multiple products like lipstick, bronzer, highlighter etc.
The latter I’ll be talking about today.
The design is truly outstanding: quality plastic and big mirror. The powder box resembles a cigarette case.
Volume : 7,5 g. Made in Italy.
The highlighter is tightly pressed and doesn’t crumble, but can be easily picked up with a brush or finger. The relief on the surface reminds me of tweed.
{IMAGE:9The highlighter is available in a single shade 01 Modern Mercury - rose gold with warm undertone. It’s not some delicate shine, it’s a real metallic shimmer!
It’s really blendable and can be applied in multiple layers, so it’s pretty easy to overdo. I have no complaints about its lasting power - the highlighter stays put till removing.
Now let’s evaluate what it can do with the real deal.
The highlighter is applied under the eyebrow, on cheekbones, in the inner corner of the eye and on the cupid’s bow.
The shine is noticeable yet still okay in daily makeup.
I always apply the highlighter in a cupid’s bow!
The Estee Lauder Victoria Beckham Highlighter is one of the best recent purchases of mine. I’m glad that I changed my mind and bought it. It’s gorgeous!
