Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick - review

Hello, beauties! My perfect lipstick! I want to share my thoughts on the product from a high-end brand Estee Lauder.

 

I bought two shades: Candy (16) and Tiger Eye (86). Today I’ll tell you about the Tiger Eye (86) one.

Well, you can see everything yourself… It’s fantastic! The casing with the lipstick is so posh. Golden decor over dark blue base looks so luxurious! This is the very case when I don’t want to leave the product out of my hands. The case locks with one move. The top cap comes with a beautiful branded Estee Lauder logo.

***AROMA***TEXTURE***

Honestly, this lipstick smells like the one that my granny uses. :) I can’t say that it stinks, though I’m not too captious, in fact. In general, the smell is cosmetic and not even cheap, but still, it reminds me of my childhood and my granny’s lips.

 

Texture: Creamy, that’s why the application is always so gliding. The product is easy to distribute and it gives smooth coverage and comfort feelings.

I’m chestnut-haired and my eyes are brown. My skin is fair. And I absolutely adore how this lippie looks on me. The color is closer to terracotta and something in between a copper and orange shade.

 

The application is easy-breezy. One will surely cope even without a lip liner. The shape of the stick is cut, which is so much like the natural lip contour.

The product doesn’t accentuate fine lines.

The formula is really long wearing. It stays put up for 6 hours (even if I eat something or drink water, it won’t influence the coverage much).

However, there’s a drawback, which is a common occasion for many lipsticks - it accentuates flaking and skin blemishes.

***MY IMPRESSIONS OF USE***

I like it! This lipstick is definitely among my faves now!

1. It makes my lips pop: just one stroke and my lips are already covered with the pigment. Such shade will flatter any skin tone.

2. It shapes my lips: shining pigments help my lips look vibrant. They are seductively shaped and outlined.

3. Moisture: Hydrating complex helps to lock the moisture inside, leaving it very slowly. My lips remain hydrated throughout the day.

4. Easy to apply. Thanks to that creamy texture, the product is so gliding during application. My lips look plump, shapely and sensuously smooth.

5. The staying power is up to 6 hours!
