Dry eyeshadow textures are great, we all know it. But today there are so many different new lines that it becomes difficult to try all of them. We’ve already got used to creamy eyeshadows in flat packages, but what about the creamy eyeshadows in a tube like a lip gloss?
Giorgio Armani Eye Tint is a very popular range of eyeshadows, legendary I can even say. There are 12 different colors in the line but there are also some limited beautiful shades in each seasonal collection.
The packaging reminds me of lip gloss, as I’ve already mentioned above. It’s made of thick, good quality plastic, the top closes with a click. The applicator looks the same as in lip glosses. It’s of average size, a bit oblong and to some extent, fluffy.
It’s very easy to apply the eyeshadows on the lids but difficult to spread and blend. I recommend to use either your fingers or a synthetic brush for blending.
Straight after applying, you might get a strange cooling feeling but it disappears immediately. The product dries very quickly, so don’t be long with blending. You can continue applying eye shadows makeup but it’ll be difficult as soon as they have dried.
The color shows up with no spots. You can create very fair effect as well as very bright smokey eyes. The product is easy to layer.
Before removing the product it stays on the eyes very well, it doesn't roll up and doesn’t fade. But to tell you the truth I sometimes still apply it with an eye primer, as I just got used to that. The product is easy to remove even with micellar water.
My color is #15, it’s from limited edition. It’s a beautiful mixture of burgundy and purple shades, with a great amount of blue, raspberry-red and purple shimmer in it. In the sun it’s absolutely gorgeous and somehow reminds me of the Taboo nail polish from Chanel.
On the eyelid I applied Gorgio Armani Eye Tint #15, and blended with the golden shade from Urban Decay (Naked2 & Smoky).
Thanks for your attention!
