The fall in 2017 was full of new launches for the NYX cosmetics brand. The Lid Lingerie collection has become super popular, and now they launch the new Matte versions of those products. This is what my review today is actually about 
Nyx Lingerie Matte Eye Tint

Design:
Oh, I’m raving about it. I really like the print of the lettering “Lingerie” and the smart design of the products in general.
I have three colors:
The applicator is a little bit weird-shaped for me but since I apply the products with my brush, it doesn’t actually matter for me.
Colors and characteristics:
My colors are: Power Trip, Better Than You, A-Line.
Power Trip works great as powder eyeshadow primer, while the other two colors, aside from this function, can also work as the main color on the mobile lid, I mean the accent color.
The products have moussy formulation and really remind me of a liquid lipstick. They do dry down but not very much. If you rub your eyes too much, you’ll smudge them. But I usually don’t rub my eyes with makeup on and I can’t actually imagine this situation. But just in case, keep in mind, you’d better not rub your eyes. :)When I saw this purple color once I got this product delivered, I immediately applied it straight on my lips, as I was dreaming of having such undertoned lipstick for me. And yes, I didn’t care that it was an eyeshadow product. And I can assure you that this color looked great as a lipstick but it quickly faded and didn’t last long though. No miracle happened. Alas I don’t have a photo of my experiment.
On the lids this color performs way better and stays on the entire day. By the end of the day the products may crease a little and it usually happens late in the evening.
When I remove this color, it leaves inky green stained pigment behind. No matter where, both on my eyes and lips. So, I guess that it’s unfair to take off a star for this peculiarity, as the other two colors perform well.
This is my make up with two colors by NYX. My fave Better Than You is applied as an accent on my mobile lid here.
A-Line as an accent here. I used transition colors from one of my eyeshadow palettes in this makeup.
I wouldn't advise you to wear these tints solo on your eyes, as their blending is rather complicated since the products dry down too quickly. And as for accenting, they are perfect!
The bottom line
There are some minor disadvantages to the new products by NYX. But in general they are very interesting to try. They aren’t for quick makeup. For quick and easy makeup, you’d better buy the first collection of Lid Lingerie Eye Tints. But still I will recommend these Lid Lingerie Matte Eye Tint for purchasing.
