Hello there! Out of the blue, I had this Guerlain limited edition Meteorites of summer 2019 in my hands. Taking the ball before the bound I want to say that I liked them and want to tell you about them right here while you still have a chance to find and buy them. Usually, I’m rather indifferent to their launches of new meteorites. For a couple of times, I used to be hooked with their beautiful packages and in the end left upset because of the chunky shimmer or color selection. As for this launch, I was planning to skip it as well.

This time the jar is golden and decorated with an abundance of pastel oriental prints of pink and yellow colors.
This soft and rubber sponge here is to protect the pearls while transporting, not for application.
The aroma is still classy for meteorites, violet-scented.
In the limited edition summer meteorites of 2019, we have the pearls of 4 different shades: peach, golden, champagne and vibrant pink. I don’t see any point in separating the pearls because we always have the blend on a brush eventually.
The powder appears pink in the swatch and looks more like a blush.
But it blends into my skin and that pink undertone somehow disappears. Guerlain Meteorites Perles de Satin have no chunky shimmer.
The finish is satin.
The pearls are rather soft and they’re easy to pick up.

For me, this product is a good setting powder to buff all over my face for a visible satin finish. If your skin has yellow undertone (like mine) that pink undertone will never be visible. But it’ll still refresh your complexion well.
The glow is smooth, shimmer-free, aka from Hourglass or Laura Mercier powders.
I love this collection of Meteorites.
They are a beautiful treat and still a good working powder that blurs my skin!
