Hello everybody and welcome!
Since matte lipsticks have been super popular for a few years already, I also decided to follow the trends and visit the H&M store, paid my attention to this 🔻Dare Me🔺 liquid lipstick. And why not to give it a go, I thought.
The price was affordable, it was about $5.
Here I want to say that I’ve never worn this lippie.😆 I keep in my drawer, waiting for it to expire and then throwing it away, because there are more cons than pros of the product.
So, let’s start from the very beginning!
The product looks rather standard for a liquid lipstick. It’s housed in a package with golden lettering.

The color seems to be beautiful, THOUGH it applies patchy making the spending huge. I have to layer it a lot, constantly dipping the wand into the tube to get more or less opaque and intense coverage.

These are my nude lips. If I’m using this product, I always exfoliate my lips before application, as once the product is on, it dreadfully accentuates all the flaking and imperfections of my lips. I don’t use a lip pencil, as I don’t have it in the similar color.

The product feels comfy during application BUT since I layer it, it doesn’t dry out immediately and I have to wait between rounds not to budge or smudge the contours and get matte coverage.
I’m rather ham-handed at my lip contouring so I have to use a flat brush with foundation to make the contours precise and well.

Lasting power:
Well, this aspect is rather questionable. It seems that the pigment of the product stays on, though the lippie starts getting lumpy. That’s why I keep in my drawer. No matter how much time I spent trying to get beautiful contours and coverage, it’ll go lumpy anyway.
Insulting 😞
I don’t recommend this lipstick. It doesn’t last long, it budges and goes lumpy, accentuates flaking and has enormous spending.
