Hello everyone!
I love winged eyeliners and draw them every day, despite my hooded lids with oily skin.
I find the gel-like formulas the best for myself, because they allow to draw the thinnest lines ever. However, they aren’t always convenient because you have to wash the brush after each use. Eyeliner pens are more preferable in this situation, and this review is about one of them, namely about the Korean product - Hope Girl Super Black Pen Eyeliner.
Price: $7,3
Packaging:
The pen arrived in a cardboard packaging.
The pen itself is plastic and handy. Inside, there is a special ball that doesn’t let the eyeliner dry out. The pen should be shaken before use.
The tip is sharp and flexible and glides smoothly over my lid, drawing a thin eyeliner.
The eyeliner is ultra-black and matte, dries quickly and becomes like a tattoo, I mean even if you rub it, it won’t smudge.
The pen is enriched with some ingredients like oils and panthenol, that must take care of the skin. I’m not really sure how it works with a thin line on the eyelid, but okay, good ingredients are always good.
My experience:
With such a thin and handy tip I can always draw nice cat eyes. I love how black it is. The eyeliner lasts all day without smudging or fading. Even though the makers claim this is waterproof, the eyeliner is easy to remove with lukewarm water without rubbing. The eyeliner also comes off if I use cold water. So, not an option if you’re going to dive.
I take off one star for the lie about being waterproof, but other than that, I’m really happy with it.
- the tip is thin
- the result is neat
- the color is rich black
- affordable
- matte
- long lasting (though not waterproof)
I don’t mind buying it again.
