The Hourglass brand is winning me over. It all started with a palette with 3 powders and now I want to test out everything from the brand. It really stands out with its formulas and textures.
I know a lot about this powder and I’ve been longing for it for a very long time. I couldn't dare to buy it but once I visited Sephora, I couldn't go out without it.

I was surprised to see the size of it. The tube is really big. I somehow thought it would be much smaller.
But no this is what this gorgeous jar looks in my hands:

It’s always a real pleasure to use. It all starts with the outer appearance, doesn’t it? I adore beautiful makeup and I’m ready to splurge on that.
But naturally, there’s still something behind that beautiful pack. And that’s actually the best powder that I’ve ever tried.Truly, I’ve never seen such a design inside of any powder. You see, it won’t spill because there’s like a hollow there. Clever, huh? Also, there’s a sifter, formed with the letter H in dots.
Well, the design is absolutely thought-out.

I’ll try to describe the texture of it.
The mill is the finest ever. When I rub it between my fingers, it feels as though I’m touching the softest silk.

This is what it looks like in the sunlight. And only this way you can make out the smallest shimmering bits in there. They’re so tiny!

No matter how odd this may sound but my skin looks filtered with it. Also, it’s smoother blurred and more glowing.
The finish is awesome and so lively.

When I took photos of my skin with just a foundation on my skin, the camera could focus with ease. But when I applied this powder, it was impossible to focus then. Only on my eyes and lips.
I always apply it with a thin layer with a brush from Annbeauty.

I also have a pressed powder but these are never dupes, even though the finishes might seem rather similar. The compact powder ensures a more glowing finish.

The formula is talc- and fragrance-free.
I bought the full size of 10.5g from Sephora for $46.
And yeah, there’s a lot of it. Even 4g of the powder will be already more than enough for me. So, if the price seems hefty for you, count it in the grams.
