Pros: insta makeup, unusual metallics, well pigmented shades
Cons: these are not actually nude colors

Hello there! Oh, Gosh, Huda Kattan makes me fall for her palettes again and again.

Once they announced the release of their new palette, I told myself to be as restrained as possible. But the time was passing by and the New Nude eyeshadow palette became viral and I gave up.

Price: $65

Weight: 19.7g

Made in Italy

It’s noteworthy that the weight of the palette is lesser here, while the price has remained the same.

The palette is said to be nude, even from the first quick glimpse I can say that it’s pinker and rather vibrant.

Yet still, it does live up to the stated.

The palette comes packed with a plastic cover of a light blue cover.

As for the palette itself, it isn’t at all different to what we've gotten used to seeing from Huda’s palettes - good quality cardboard with a magnet closure.

By the way, here we can see the eyes of Huda herself.

Inside you’ll find a plastic liner.

Also, there’s a big and handy mirror provided.

Traditionally there are 18 refill pans. They are so different!

10 mattes, 1 shimmering, 2 pressed glitters, 1 cream concealer and 4 interesting duochrome shade with chunky bits which look like marble.

Reinventing nude so you can experience it like never before, The New Nude Palette by HUDA BEAUTY is versatile and wearable in equal measure. Delivering infinite possibilities, this unexpected palette encourages you to experiment, empower, and express yourself however you please.

The all-in-one eyeshadow palette consists of 18 highly-pigmented shades, ranging from flattering mattes to shimmer-drenched hues, and has everything you need to transform your lids. The carefully-curated lineup is studded with easy-to-use combinations—from soft berry to dusty copper, and rosy pink to golden taupe tones. The New Nude Palette boasts a variety of game-changing textures and colors, balancing cool and warm tones to complement the best of both worlds.

We were all blown away once we saw those refills with huge and chunky shimmer. We didn’t have anything like that before!

But the result turned out to be rather wearable and now you’ll see it yourself, looking through the swatches. I swatched the products with my finger (two coats) and then with a flat brush over the UD primer.

Bare - matte pale shade to set the primer.

Crave - the first duochrome with a golden and pink shift.

Play - one more fair cream-peach matte shade, which is for setting the primer or shaping the eyes.

Fantasy - plum-pink saturated duochrome.

Love Bite - matte well packed berry-lilac shade with cool undertones. Nice for darkening.

Spanked - matte saturated pink cool shade.

Lace - cool lavender taupe matte shade. One of my faves in every palette. It’s perfect for the crease.

Daydream - gentle pink-mauve duochrome with a cool cast.

Tickle - matte pink with a warmer undertone.

Excite - dry pressed vinous glitter. I swatched it over the glitter base.

Infatuated - one more pressed glitter, which is lighter and pinker with golden flecks.

Kinky - plum metallic with pink shimmer. It’s well pigmented and easy to apply. It’s so easy to blend.

Concealed - cream concealer of fair shade with a yellow undertone. Honestly, I can’t get it why they decided to include it here. I’m against that neighborhood when cream textures are placed close to dry ones. After several uses, this refill is already dusted with pigments. No use for it for me. My eyeshadow doesn’t sit over it. Maybe it’ll be good for brow makeup.

Secret - one more taupe shade with a warm undertone this time. It’s the driest from the palette.

Tease - mauve-brown matte shade. It offers warmer undertone than the Love Bite.

Raw - matte red-brown shade. One of the most suitable ones for the darker crease. Very well packed with pigments.

Charmed - this shade is deceitful. On the pan, I can see the pink-brown color but in life, it’s a more brown-toned metallic with cool pink shimmer.

Teddy - the cutest warm beige-pink matte shade.

Here we can see the pressed glitter in two refills from Huda again, which are better formulated indeed.

First of all they don’t condensate as much as those from the Desert Dusk palette. And secondly, they cling to my skin better and the formula here is less chunky. I’ve tried to wear them over the concealer from the palette and I didn’t like the result.

Best of all they sit on over the NYX glitter primer.

I just can’t understand why there are two almost the same glitters there…

As you’ve already seen, the metallic shades are mind-blowing here! They are adorned with marble-esque bits but on the eyes, they look like foiled. They are soft, buttery and very well pigmented.

Look at how glimmering they are under the sunlight:

So vibrant!

The pigmentation is awesome and the blending is fuss-free.

Comparing them with the ABH eyeshadows, this are less dusty but still, they can fall out while doing my makeup.

The Huda Beauty team has definitely worked on their formula and created softer shades.

It feels like the palette lacks one more matte and saturated pigment for darkening, dark-brown for instance.

Here are my makeups which I managed to create with this palette:

1. Halo eye:

2. Cut Crease:

I decided to add some glittering liner and then freaked out and took the lashes off. Laughing out loud

And yeah, I’m very lazy and I did two different makeups! Laughing out loud

3. The left eye is such a beautiful dusk look:

I used the shade Crave as an accent. It’s very easy to do but the result is astonishing. It’s one of my favorite makeups.

4. One more Cut Crease makeup, which is cooler and pinkier. I used Daydream as an accent.

One more mischief from me and the waterline is lined with a bright-rose pencil.

In a nutshell, I conclude that the palette is awesome! It’s beautiful and will never leave any makeup or eyeshadow junkie indifferent.

I have nothing to be picky about but still, I have to draw your attention that you’ll never come up with a lot of different makeups with this palette. But I knew it when purchasing this palette. It’s just a 100% hit for day-to-day makeups.

I also think that this palette will be loved by makeup artists because it’s perfect for weddings and commercial makeups.

Yet, as always it’s only up to you to decide whether you need it or not! Smile

Thanks a million for your attention to my post! ❤️
