For a long time, I was dreaming of having this eyeshadow palette until one day I could finally get my hands onto it. I bought it for $40. Yes, it is pricey but these are all-time-favorite shades of mine.
The palette with the eyeshadows looks simple and sleek. Nothing extra here, just classics.
The color selection presents nude as it is. There are shades from the lightest to the intense darkest ones, 5 classy brown shades. The darker shades will be a must for getting more seductive and languishing eyes.
Confession: I haven’t ever used that darkest brown shade from the palette as it looks too extra for me. But I guess it still can look nice if you blend it into the fairest shade.
Have a closer look at the products. They all are completely matte:
I don’t use them in the summer at all since I can associate them only with fall, “cool” and autumn makeup. They might also be good for winter, I guess.
A photo with a flash:
The quality of the products is on fleek. But they are a little bit dusty. It isn’t a problem since the blending is fuss-free. I like using the first two shades for a more daytime makeup look, while the third and the fourth shades are more for the evening.
By the way, you can use these shades not only as an eyeshadow but also as a contour powder (if your skin is fair, the first two shades will be perfection for you). And considering their strict and classy notes, my face never looks plain with these shades on. Here, the most important thing is not to apply too much and always add some accents to enliven the look.
The staying power is excellent. They never crease or anything, especially if I wear them with the Becca concealer.
It’s better to use a soft brush for the application so as to provide proper blending. The brush that you see in the photo is actually a brow brush. Don’t use this one to apply these shades.
The product presents a great opportunity for experiments. It feels like an endless scope for my creativity. I didn’t have enough time to take shots of the products “in action” on my eyes, though.
Naturally, I can recommend this palette for purchasing. I hope that I’ll find a way of using all the shades, even these darkest ones soon.
