I follow Jeffree Star's YouTube channel and I have to say that I love everything that he does. It’s obvious that I always get hooked on his great quality products and designs of the packages.
For quite a while I was just looking at all that beauty and didn’t buy anything because the liquid lipsticks aren’t my cup of tea and as for his highlighters, they seem to be too vibrant and dazzling. 🤓
But once I saw this palette, which was launched several weeks ago, I couldn’t restrain myself anymore.
I have to confess that I have a weakness for blue and pastel shades of eyeshadows.
I prefer wise shopping so I used to think for a long time if this palette would be good for me. Luckily, the palette also has several neutral shades, which aren’t green or blue-toned.
I hope that I didn’t tire you up with my long pre-story. :)
But I know that you’ll get my idea.
Let’s get it started. :)I purchased it from the official website for $52.
The palette was sold out within a couple of hours, so I even had to set an alarm clock to buy it on time.
The price for $52 surprises me. Usually, the same in quality palettes cost much more, besides, they regularly offer 6-12 eyeshadow shades, while here, the palette has 18 of them!

Design: it’s one of the “pros” of the palette for me. As Jeffree says, the palette was inspired by high-end jewelry boxes and caskets. It really looks interesting and sophisticated. 🙂
The casket theme runs through the entire Blue Blood collection and it’s fine for me. But I guess that some people might still feel a little bit negative to it. That’s normal practice, I think. We’re all different.

Colors: the shades here are unique and matchy.
There are a lot of blue and green shades. However, there are still some “regular” shades too. It was a huge pro for me as well, because the blue and green shades are more like accents for my makeup.

Sorry, I missed out the shade Celebrity Skin (the brown one in the middle row), so it’s placed 2 shades on the right.

Overall: I’m head over heels with this palette. It’s my vanity table beauty and gem.
P.S. In the end, I want to be a little bit picky - there are several drawbacks: the palette smells of paint. I guess that smell will leave after some time. It just feels as though the palettes didn’t even had time to dry down from the factory. One more thing, the lettering on the top lid is also a little bit smudged. I guess it happened for the same reason.
As for the eyeshadows, they all arrived safe and sound but according to other reviews, some girls were less lucky.
As for the tight latch, for me, it’s fine and easy to open. Some girls mentioned the touch opening too.
That’s all.
