I first met the Jouer brand a few years ago when I tried out their matte lipsticks, which really surprised me with their quality, by the way. And this spring when I was looking through the assortment of an online shop, I decided to add this lip kit to my cart. The kit actually provides a liquid lipstick, a lip topper, and a lip liner. All the products are nude shade-wise.
When I opened the kit for the first time I was stunned. The lipstick and the lip topper looked so tiny, only 2 ml (0.067 fl.oz.). I deem they won’t go a month long, given that I use them every day.
But this minus also arises an advantage for all beauty junkies who just don’t have enough time to use up everything that they unconsciously grab from the shelves of beauty stores.
The design is worth your special attention. The upper part is actually cardboard with the description of all the shades, ingredients, barcode and many other interesting things.
It’s easy to take off and here it is, the kit with a fake leather print on it. It closes with magnets and feels pretty ergonomic in my hands. I don’t even have a desire to store the products separately, even though it would be more practical and compact. Thanks to the dope design, I deem that this kit will be an excellent present option.
The good quality doesn’t leave us on the design only. The products themselves are great and look perfect. The matte lipstick is exactly what it should be: thick color coverage on the first go, pleasant staying powder, and creamy texture. The topper gloss is the most lightweight that I’ve ever tried. It’s so airy and non-sticky, that I’m sure to purchase more and more. The lip liner is retractable, which is uber convenient and I don’t have to look for a sharpener, especially when I’m in a hurry and want my lips to look ideal.
And of course, I want to show you all that beauty on my lips.
The Au Naturel liquid lipstick applied with one coat. It looks like a pleasant nude lipstick, which might seem a tad red over my fair skin tone.
The Stardust topper is a myriad of glistening parts, which don’t make my makeup appear cheap.
The topper looks nice over the lipstick, though I’m more into wearing my lip products solo.
