What lip products do you prefer to cover your lips? As for me, I prefer matte coverage! Of course I still love lip glosses, but if I were to decide what lipsticks to use, I’d definitely go for a matte formula. So, if you’re like me, then pay attention to the Kiss New York Professional brand, which has the ULTI-MATTE Lip Crayon collection. Today I’ll show you my lipstick from this line.
I can’t say that I’ve got a plenty of crayon lipsticks, but I wish I had tried them before, since I’ve fallen for the ULTI-MATTE product!
This lippie is rather small and will easily fit into any purse or a handbag to carry with you. The casing is made of a good quality plastic, the design looks simple, yet elegant.
The stick of the product is twist-up and down, so it won’t be a problem if you twisted it too much.
The product has a slanted tip, which is nice to line my lip edges with. I can even easily get by without a lip liner.
I have my lippie in the shade 07 SOHO. Just have a look at how packed with the pigment it is!
One stroke already ensures good coverage.
However, if you still want to build-up the coverage, you can easily do that, because the product will never leave nasty sensations behind.
The texture is creamy, though the finish is matte. It sets pretty quickly and I like how well it stays on my lips. The product is able to withstand a light bite, though still may fade in the corners of the lips, so be ready to touch-up.
Even though the formula gives a matte finish, it doesn’t at all mean that it dries out my lips or anything. It has sunflower seed oil in the ingredients, which is skin-friendly and moisturizing. I don’t even use a lip liner before this lipstick, because I just don’t see the point in doing that.
There are 14 shades in the ULTI-MATTE collection. They range from fair nudes to bright and bold colors. I think everyone will find a perfect match there.
