I’ve heard about this KISS brand for the first time from a sample service. Recently they started to arrive in sample boxes worldwide.

The tube with the lipstick looks neat and it really reminds me of the Maybelline lipsticks, with the only difference that this product is smaller and has a little frill on top.

I received my beauty box with the Kiss branded lipsticks about a month ago, so of course I had enough time to test it out.

You know, I’m more into liquid lipsticks, because they are usually easier to apply.
The applicator of the product isn’t slanted here, that’s why I always make a lot of boo-boos during the application.

The stopper is good here, though, again, because of the applicator, which is long, it always has a lot more product on than I need. Besides, the applicator gathers the formula on both sides and the color looks so saturated that I’m sure that one side would be enough for both my lips. That’s why the rims of the tube are already stained with the formula. I usually have to use those rims to wipe the excess over them. 
On the one hand, it might sound like an advantage of the pigment, as I’ve said, but on the other…
My shades seems to be the most wearable. It isn’t too bright, yet it isn’t nude at the same time. You don’t even have to wonder whether it’ll suit you or not, even if your skin is as white as snow, or you had a good burn in a sun booth.
I’d say that the #03 TOPLESS shade is versatile to my liking, but still I know that tastes are different.

The color looks muted and berry. The lipstick has an excellent color payoff. A single swipe already renders a completely bold finish.

By the way, this shade really reminded me of my other lipstick by Ciel, which is also velvet.
Though, I have to say that the Ciel lipstick still looks more pink-toned and tender. The Kiss lipstick is darker and more saturated with the pigment. I think it’s a good evening wear option. However, both lipsticks have the same finish, which is velvet.
The Kiss lipstick is of medium thickness texture-wise. It doesn’t apply with patches and covers my lips evenly, even if they are chapped or dry.
By the way, the coverage is good enough to cover my slight lip wounds, not for a long time, though. However, if your lips are constantly dry, you can be sure that the lipstick will never make the situation worse. The formula is comfortable, because it never dries out or tightens my skin. It looks neat over my lips and I don’t even feel it present there, including the taste side, as well.
The product is easy-breezy application-wise. The Queen collection of the brand seems to have too long applicators for me, that’s why I only use a tip of it. The product doesn’t set, but it flawlessly sides with my lips. So it’s better not to rub your lips together within some time right after the application, so as not to risk having splotches and patches.

I’ve already said that the formula isn’t drying, so don’t even worry about it. Of course as many other lipsticks, this one won’t cover your flakey skin bits or wounds, but it also won’t accentuate it.

The color on my lips looks the same as in the tube, a photo or on the picture from the official site. Usually I compare my lipsticks with the Expectation/Reality rate, but here, I don’t need to do that.

Finish
Right after the application the product looks creamy and as though it’ll never set. But don’t worry, it doesn't even have a hint of glossy finish. Two minutes later, the finish becomes velvet, not matte, though not satin either.
Again, comparing the finishes with the Ciel product, yes, they are the same here! But the Ciel already states the finish saying that it’s Matte Velvet, while the Kiss product says nothing about it.
The only thing that made me upset a little is the product doesn’t look matte on my lips. I don’t know why I expected it, because even the official site doesn't state the product finish.

Longevity
Well, the non-drying formula of the KISS The Queen lipstick has turned out to be its drawback longevity-wise. A light bite and I can already see the disappearing product from the inside out of my lips. Some time later, the lippie will also start losing its pigmentation and look more like the Ciel lipstick.
It’s easy to touch-up, though. The new layer quickly adjusts to the already applied one.
But it’s still a fact, the product doesn’t stay on for long. If I don’t eat or drink, the saturated pigment stays on my lips for about 1.5 hours. After that it becomes less bright. Maybe some girls will like it, but still, I wanted a bright lipstick with cool undertones.
The average staying power of the pigment is about 4 hours on my lips.
It leaves my lips with patches, starting from the inside of my lips. And this is where that moment begins - when the lipstick is still present on the edges, while the inside of my mouth already looks awful, just covered with a hint of color.
Removal
It’s not an issue for me to remove this product, since I can remove it with a micellar water or with a cleansing oil. A cotton round will also take no more than 2 seconds to wash the product off from my lips, since the pigment doesn’t stain my skin.
Well, maybe this lipstick isn’t the best in the universe. But the finish, color selection and outer look make the KISS The Queen Creamy lipstick really decent, you know. I think that this new launch will definitely find its fans.
