Hey!
Today I’ll be speaking about L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint.
I own two shades, namely 785 Pin-up and 794 Seduce. The lip gloss comes in a tube with an angled tip which is so inconvenient. I wish it was a brush, like in the concealer by the same brand. It’s almost impossible to apply this lip gloss without fingers or brush.
The tube is huge - 12 ml. It costs about 5 USD. The lipgloss in available in 18 shades.
The color is very saturated, I would even say, super-rich and bright. It has the formula of a regular lip gloss and smells like peppermint. There is also vitamin E, which is supposed to nourish and take care of the lips. Peppermint oil improves blood circulation and therefore it makes my lips appear bigger. Plus the cooling effect lasts for a while.
The lip gloss gives a beautiful glossy finish.
And now to the disadvantages, or rather to the biggest disadvantage: the lip gloss tends to smudge horribly! It doesn’t matter if I apply a thin coat or not, with or without lip pencil - it smears and smudges!
I’ve taken a few photos to show you:
That’s what it looks like after an hour and a half and a cup of coffee.
I can only recommend this lip gloss for photo shoots, as it lasts only about an hour (if you don’t eat or speak a lot). It’s useless in everyday life.
I tried to use it as liquid blush and it was a mistake - the pigment settled into pores and it looked horrible.
