Recently, when I was buying makeup, I decided to add a few L.A. Products to the basket.
The store offered a wide range of their products, but I fancied their eyeshadow palettes. Why? Simply because they have an incredibly beautiful design in retro style that just makes you fall for it.
Here is a gray tin box, small and compact. Since the palette includes mostly neutral grey colors, the box looks the part.
General information:
There is a film under the cover, Initially, it was fixed with a special protection. I'm glad that the manufacturer took care of it.
Everything looks very attractive, the refills are not placed in a row, but form a pattern. There is a mirror, large enough so that the palette can easily become a travel friendly option given its compact size.
The applicator is located in a special section. It’s hard for me to evaluate its quality, because I used to use brushes to apply shadows.
There are 6 shades in the palette. It often happens that in the same palette you find similar colors, but in this case, each shade differs from the other.
For your convenience, I numbered them in the photo.
- Number 1 is a highlighter. It is a silvery shade with many fine shining particles. Good for highlighting the inner corner of the eye or underlining the eyebrows.
- Number 2 - a matte gray-brown color. This shade is Taupe and hard to find in general. Very versatile, suitable for everyone. You can use it for your eyebrows, if they are blond. There is no redness in it.
- Number 3 - a satin gray-blue color. Usually I do not like blue shadows, but this color is pretty good.
- Number 4 - a satin light gray. Versatile color, perfectly combinable with the 5th shade in the palette.
- Number 5 - a matte dark gray. Well pigmented.
- Number 6 - a dark gray with big sparkles. It’s recommended to use thiis color as an eyeliner.
All colors were applied to the eyeshadow base. {IMAGE: 14} No gaps. They may slightly crumble during the pick up with the brush, but no oily film appears on the surface of the refills.
Now I'll show you a couple of makeups made with this palette.
In the first photo, I used shades No.3, 5 and 6.
l applied the shadow number 1 onto the lid, and drew winged eyeliner.
For some reason, the shades look paler on the swatches than on the eyes. In reality, however, the shadows are well pigmented, as promised. The lasting power is excellent, but it's mostly because of the base.
On the whole, I really like the palette, I enjoy using it every day. I think the key factor is the design, but I also like the content - these are saturated, highly pigmented and, most importantly, wearable shades.
