Recently when I used my foundation up along with the cleansing oil, there was a need for me to buy one more foundation. I started reading the reviews of Korean BB creams and many other foundations. At first I wanted to buy the Ultra HD by Make Up For Ever but the price tag was so huge that I decided not to buy it. When I started to google for its dupe I found out that the L.A. Girl PRO.Coverage Illuminating Foundation is usually thought to be a good swap for it.
This is a legendary product, isn’t it? I know that usual girls as well as professionals and beauty bloggers wear it with great pleasure.
Well, I watched some YouTube videos and decided to give the L.A. Girl HD PRO.Coverage Foundation a go. By the way, the price tag of $10 was more than tempting.
PRO.coverage high-definition long wear illuminating liquid foundation is ideal for a flawless looking, full coverage finish. Lightweight formula is comfortable for all day wear. Paraben free formula with added anti-oxidants helps hydrate and improve the skin's appearance. Now available to extend the color range even further, an innovative white foundation mixer to adjust and customize color.
The bottle houses 28ml of the product. It has a thick plastic pump.
The bottle is of good quality and is very sound. There was no carton box.
The pump works well and I find it easy to control the amount of the product that comes out.
The product is absolutely unscented which I think is a positive sign.
GLM642 - Fair. Unfortunately this color is a failure.
I have the fairest color of all, #15 in the collection.
This shade is too dark for me. I guess this downside might have been changed if I bought the white foundation from the same collection, but the product looks too YELLOW. Awfully yellow.
There are foundations, especially Korean foundations which really adjust to the skin tone, no matter what it is: yellow, pink or too dark. They also blend so nicely into the skin giving good coverage yet absolutely undetectable foundation presence on the skin. Nothing of the kind with the L.A. Girl HD PRO.Coverage Illuminating Foundation.
As for the characteristics of the product, the manufacturer states that this is a lightweight product which gives full coverage finish. As for me, I’d say it applies like Plasticine on my skin.
The product is very thick and difficult to apply with a thin layer. It clogs pores and shows fine lines and flaking. And yes, it really camouflages all my imperfections making my face look like it's covered with a mask.
I do feel it present on my skin. The finish is dewy and you can see it in the picture with a flashlight.
This foundation made me look at the faces of people on the streets. Honestly I’ve never seen anybody with such a yellow complexion.
I don’t even know what to do with this product. I don’t want to throw it away and there’s nobody to present with it. Maybe I’ll put it aside till summer and maybe after I become more tanned, I’ll find a use for it.
I don’t recommend it.
Thanks for your attention!
