Today I want to tell you about the new product in make-up! A few words about my skin, thanks to the serum, I’ve been using recently, it’s become normal, but during the day my forehead can become oily, and because of cold weather (I have a constantly runny nose) my skin flakes around my nose and chin. Sometimes I have pimples, but most of all I’m concerned about my skin color. Because of the closely located capillaries, the face quickly turns red, and it doesn't look very attractive to be honest. What’s more I’ve got yellow skin undertones, so my face gets of an incomprehensible color. Before that, I used to use a powder, but I was terribly worried because of my appearance. I don’t like BB creams much, and I don’t want to start to use foundations for as long as possible. But I just couldn't resist this miracle cushion and bought it. I wanted to try something new, a new texture, a new design. I was also impressed by the fact that the product was water based, which is very good for problematic skin types. Lightweight coverage and the manufacturer promises SPF 23 which sounded perfect for my skin.
I’ve got the lightest color. Because of the bad light at the store, I thought that this color would suit me, but then, when I tried it at home I was upset. My neck and face color is already different, but with this product on, the difference is even more visible.
But, let’s come back to the point and have a look at the beautiful packaging:)
Once we opened it, we can see the mirror and the puff for foundation. The lid opens only 90°, which for me it’s absolutely inconvenient.
The sponge is in a separate part which you need to open, it’s protected with a seal.
At first, I used to put that seal back each time after using the cushion, but it was not very convenient and I just threw it away. I don’t think that it protects the sponge from drying.
The case of the cushion is very sound, everything closes tightly and well. The definite advantage of this cushion foundation is that you can take it with you and touch up any moment you might need it. But, it’s proceeded with a disadvantage, the small amount of the product and the high price. I bought this cushion with a huge discount, so I wasn’t upset very much that the color didn't suit me.

Before and after the application in the same light. As you can see the cushion gives good coverage, which is enough to conceal the blemishes and pimples, it evens my skin tone and gives my skin a healthy glow.
I read some reviews where they said that the cushion makes the face oily, but my skin looks almost matte. In a couple of hours I do have the dewy finish, but it’s not oily at all. I even apply the famous Meteorites by Guerlain. The photo of the total look (with Meteorites on) and after 4 hours of wearing. As you can see, the foundation disappeared under my nose (because it’s runny). But in general, it looks great. Even after 8 hours of wearing the foundation was still on.
A lot of people write that the product is non-hygienic. But still, they don’t think that the concealer has almost the same technique of application. I apply the cushion with the puff, one side of which I dip in the sponge with foundation, apply over my face and blend out. If there’s not enough of the coverage for me, I do the same with another side of the puff. After that I wash it and, I presume that it’s quite hygienic. I believe that brushes, sponges and puffs must be washed after each use!
If only the color would suit me well, I wouldn’t even think about what other product to take up next time. Besides, they sometimes have discounts at stores. And now I have the case for the sponge, so next time I’ll buy only the refill, which is cheaper.
I’m very delighted that the product isn’t felt on the skin, it becomes almost weightless. The cushion is pleasant to apply, easy to blend and there aren’t any patches. If you have visible blemishes, the product won’t conceal them, but it’ll make your skin smooth and even.
