When I saw this product online, I thought that I desperately needed it.
You know, L'oreal and Lancome cushions are very much alike, but I wasn’t sure if Maybelline was the same. And I was right, because Maybelline and Lancome differ in their ingredients and coverage
MAYBELLINE Dream Cushion.
Price: 12 Euro on Amazon.de
Expiration date: 6 months after unpacking.
I’ve been using it for 2 months now.
Outer look
It looks like a common powder compact with a quality, not distorting mirror inside.
I painted the picture myself with alcohol-based markers
How to use:
A sponge is the same quality as L'oreal.
In general, the packaging looks pretty.
On the plus side, it has SPF 20, but American version doesn’t.
Ingredients:
Shade.
The product is available in a variety of shades! My 01 shade is not the lightest.
I purchased it online and couldn’t check if the shade suited me.
My experience.
I have combination skin with fine lines. In spring it’s normal.
The shade is yellow-y for me. It’s noteworthy that it is able to adjust to your skin tone, but I don’t like it still.
The foundation covers up slight redness and provides medium coverage. Plus, it can be layered.
The product works well, provided that you have no peeling and clogged pores.
As for me, I did have peeling and clogged pores, so the cushion accentuated them.
I read that it emphasizes wrinkles as well, but I haven’t noticed that. However, I have some of them on my face, plus a nasolabial fold.
- The wear time is good enough.
- Leaves traces on my phone and outdoor clothes.
- I use some powder in my T-zone, so there is no shine on my skin throughout the day.
- Doesn’t go a long way as L'oreal, for example.
That’s how it looks on my skin:
Before
After
Verdict.
The cushion accentuates my pores and peeling, so it's quite noticeable on my skin. However, it looks great on the areas without these problems.
Hope you find my review interesting and helpful!
