My review I want to dedicate to the L'Oreal Color Riche Star Secrets Lipstick in the color #708 Aishvaria Beige.
Well this very color hasn’t become the most popular and best-selling but still I love it. It hasn’t become so popular because it isn’t as intense and bright on the lips as in the stick, I guess.
I like that it has a semi-transparent finish that gives just a hint of color and doesn’t hide the natural lip pigment. Thanks to the shimmer infused formulation, my lips look pouty and very beautiful.
Well, the packaging is rather good for a mass market product. It looks sturdy and isn’t wishy-washy. When the lipstick was new it even looked like a high-end product. But at the time when I bought this lipstick, I didn’t know that I would want to write a review of it and didn’t take a photo of the initial packaging and appearance, so excuse me.
But now I can show you what’s happened with the product after a month of living in my beauty bag.
Well, it doesn’t look presentable anymore, but the content is still fine.
Introducing Colour Riche Star Secrets, a collection of irresistible, must-have shades, created by 7 women for women all over the world. L'Oreal Paris has collaborated with it's Beauty Ambassadors from around the world - actresses, singers, models - all with one thing in common: a lipstick they never leave without. Colour Riche Star Secrets gives you extreme comfort and radiant colour that stays put all day long, without feathering or fading.
Color - It’s a perfect nude for tanned girls! It’s a beige color with an abundance of small particles of shimmer that applies like a light veil making my lips pouty. I adore this result.
Texture - it’s gliding and always applies on my lips beautifully. It doesn't accentuate flaking.
Moisture - I don’t feel the lipstick on my lips while wearing it. It gives very good subtle moisture and uber comforting feelings while wear.
The staying power is average. On my lips the product is present for about 2 hours and then fades.
Disadvantages - for me the awful flavor of the lipstick is an absolute disadvantage. Just to be clear I want to say that I don’t lick my lips, I feel that nasty flavor when eating or drinking with this lipstick on.
I like the color of the product and especially its texture. But I can’t bear its nasty smell and flavor. It repels me. I don’t think this lipstick is worth the money. I’ll use this one up and I don't think I'll repurchase.
But in general, if you aren’t afraid of the strange odor and scent, you’ll like it. Swatch and smell it at the store before buying, as my opinion is totally subjective.
