These lipsticks were released in collaboration with the stars. I don’t actually rave about the L’Oreal lipsticks but when I saw this one, I became very curious.
I opted for the Julianne's Nude (Julianne Moore). It’s a neutral toned nude color with the tiniest particles of shimmer to it. The product is packed in a standard black matte Color Riche tube.
The product looks darker and warmer in the stick rather than in reality.
The pigmentation is average. If your natural lip color is very bright then I think the lipstick will not cover it up fully. Only if you layer it but then it’ll look streaky.
The lipstick is infused with the small shimmer particles which are well visible in the sun. The product is nourishing hence it applies very easily. But still don’t neglect exfoliating before any lip product application.
In this picture you can see that the lipstick leaves streaks if layered.
The staying power is usual for a creamy lipstick. Be careful since it isn’t matte and can stain cups and clothes. On my lips it stays for about an hour and then comes off, leaving a slight hint of pigment.
Why do I assess it with 4 stars if I don’t like its streaking and staying power? Because I’m in love with the color and nourishing properties of the product
