A few years ago I didn’t have a clue what primer was. It was generally used by makeup artists.
But now primers are available and affordable for everyone, because both high-end and low-end brands have them.
The only thing is to choose the right one that would not only make your makeup last longer, but also even out and mattify your skin.
I didn’t purchase it for a long time, because I thought it wasn’t necessary for my collection. But one day Loreal sent me a free sample for testing. I had had my eyes on this particular option for quite a while, but I couldn’t dare to give it a shot! So, thank you, Loreal!

Recently there was a real boom. Many brands launched colorful skin-correcting primers. I bet you were coming across green, violet and rose concealers in the stores lately. They promise to make our skin literally perfect within seconds.
Loreal decided not to get behind and brought out a line of Infaillible primers.
The range consists of 4 products.
The outer look:
It comes in a compact black tube.
It has a convenient pump that gives the right amount of the product...
And it doesn’t spit it out, which is very good. I have a moisturizing cream, the pump of which just makes me sick, because every time I use it, I ‘moisturize’ everything all over in my room!
It is quite liquid and watery. When applying I feel the silicones that are obviously present in the ingredients.
The primer is silky and slippery to the touch.
It spreads out on my skin without much effort and I hardly feel it on my skin. It absorbs instantaneously due to its lightweight formula.
It doesn’t leave any white residue after use.
I have combination skin that is oily in my T-zone and dry on my cheeks.
In the picture it looks, however, like it never gets oily! No way! Don’t buy it! I desperately need mattifying products, otherwise my skin looks like an oily pancake.
It’s no secret that a primer is a product that should be used prior to putting on makeup, which means that it won’t be working on its own.
I use it before applying a foundation.
It doesn’t disguise my pores or smooth out my peeling. So don’t have high hopes, but don’t put it off immediately! It mattifies the skin flawlessly, which is exactly what I wanted to get from this product! My skin gets an oily sheen after about 3 hours in summer, but when I have this primer on, it doesn’t get oily for 5 hours at least. Therefore the product really does what it says on the tin.
It does extend makeup wear! I even stopped touching it up with a powder throughout the day, because I just don’t need it anymore.
Moreover, the foundation doesn’t crease after applying this primer. It applies easier and more comfortable on the contrary!
This is the first primer I have, so I can’t compare it to others.
Nevertheless it really does what it promises. For ex., it doesn’t smooth out my dry patches or conceal my pores, which is probably for the better, because it might have clogged them, I guess. But it mattifies my skin perfectly.
Also, it extends makeup wear and my skin doesn’t get oily so quickly, which is great!
