For a long time, I’ve been loyal to pen liners and recently dipped into a liquid formula.
Some time ago, L'Oreal released the new product Matte Signature Liquid Eyeliner. The palette offers 9 shades and there’s something to choose from. Everyone will find a match, whether you’re into classy shades or can go for bright and bold colors with ease.
I guess that they’ll expand the color palette with time with other shades because it still lacks some trendy colors like yellow or purple, for example.
All 9 shades are different not only in their color base but also in their finish. Some of them are metallics.
My shade #04 is metallic, by the way. It glows with myriads of undetectable gleaming dust and looks fabulous on my eyes. But first things first:

The design of the product is top-notch. Look at this simple, yet elegant back tube with a sticker color-coded with the product inside. It also has a long applicator wand which shines with gold in two formats - glossy and textured.
Thanks to the textured applicator, it's really handy to hold in my hands.

The thin applicator is flexible yet resilient at the same time. It isn’t the applicator that we’re used to seeing. This is actually a tipped end which will be perfect for precise lines.

The product is gel in consistency. It doesn’t feather but nicely follows the applicator, leaving an even and smooth line behind.
My shade is #04 Emerald and ITS USE
This shade is stunning. It’s cool- and deeply toned.

It shines in the sun thanks to the golden finely-milled shimmer in the formula.

The product is sensitive to lights, so it may either appear more or less intense on the skin. For instance, when the light is dim, the finish is almost black-toned.

To reveal the inner beauty of the shade, I’d like to recommend you go for a little bit thicker wings. This way, the gleaming finish will be more obvious.

I use this product for my eyes when they’re nude without a primer or on top of my eyeshadows. Both ways are great to wear and they stay nice.
It’s true that the product is waterproof. I face no problems with it during the day at all.
As for the removing, no issues here too. You know, sometimes such textures may come off difficult, either staining your skin or leaving a messy finish behind. Nothing like that with this liner.

THE BOTTOM LINE I can’t find anything to be picky about with it. Well, maybe a little bit to the finish, which isn’t matte at all. It’s good in all other ways: in use, application, removing.
