Greetings to all eyeliner lovers.
They say Clinique is famous for their makeup. I’m still pretty new at this. I only used their mascaras. But after a few makeup tutorials, I decided to give this liquid pen a try.

I find the pen a bit too short for my taste.
Now about its peculiarities. At first, I thought it was a regular eyeliner pen. Nope. There is a brush!
It’s tapered and consists of many tiny hairs. It resembles a calligraphy pen rather than a makeup product.
The brush is very dense and holds form, but it’s also flexible and manageable. It’s really handy and soft, and doesn’t scratch the eyelid.
It’s so easy to draw thin lines. But it applies only to thin everyday lines. Drawing a thick drama cat-eye makeup is a bit harder. You can adjust the thickness of your lines as well as their color. You can also apply a few coats of the eyeliner, just wait until the previous coat is dry. And don’t overdo it, of course.
After three months of use, the brush still looks new. The hairs haven’t fallen out or become fluffy.
All these hairs are soaked with black liquid, which comes out of the pen. The color is not ultra-black, it has a grayish undertone. But the eyeliner can be applied in two layers and therefore look bolder and richer.

It stays on well, though the ‘wings’ may smudge throughout the day. On the lid itself the eyeliner stays all day. No complaints.

- To create a thin line, use the pointed tip of the brush.
- To create a thick line, use the flat side of the brush.
- To create a tight line: While looking into a mirror, tilt head 10° back, making it easier to see the lash line. Starting at outer corner of eye, draw a line to the middle of the lashline. Repeat from inner corner of eye, connecting to the first line.
- To create a cat eye: Start with the tight line as directed above. Create the perfect diagonal line for your eye shape by drawing a short thin line upward towards the outer corner of your eyebrow.
It hasn’t provoked any allergic reaction. The eyeliner feels really comfortable on my eyes.
It comes off without difficulty, with micellar water or any other makeup removing product.

It’s recommended to apply it over an eyeshadow base, as it won’t fill in tiny cracks and wrinkles.
Will I re-purchase it? Rather yes than no, but only in case of a big discount.
