L'Oréal Paris X Balmain Color Riche is our first limited-edition collection of 12 tailor-made designer lipsticks. Uncover edgy, matte shades encased within an exclusive pack, designed by Olivier Rousteing. 12 lip colours designed to embody three femininities: Safari, Rock & Couture. Lipstick shades for every woman – no matter her origin, no matter her tribe.
The formula is infused with pure pigments and camellia oil to create our richest colour and most moisturising matte finish.
So, the collection is divided into 3 groups:
Safari, Rock and Couture. Each group represents 4 lipsticks.
I’ve decided to snap up 2 shades. The whole collection is unique for me and the packaging looks amazing with this golden part.
Glamazone and Confidence:
The first color of mine is Glamazone in a malachite tube. The design is really reminiscent of Safari, jungles and some wilderness.
The texture is creamy and applies effortlessly without any streaks.
The smell is potent and overpowering enough. In fact, lipsticks without any smell are dull to me, but I’m not into the smell of this lipstick. It doesn’t smell like sweets or flowers, but like old school cosmetics. The good news is that it doesn’t linger long on my lips.
It’s a very beautiful taupe shade that is wearable and quite long-lasting.
The second color is Confidence in a black tube. The package is Paris-like, modern and elegant.
Texture: The shade looks like a topper or an addition to a lip pencil or a nude lippie. It’s a gorgeous semi-sheer peach with a good deal of shimmer to it.
It glows with golden sparkles.
Now I’ll show you how it looks when used alone:
It applies to the primarily moisturized lips easily.
I prefer applying one or two coats, but the color pops up right away. This collection is so inspiring and I guess any girl would love to try this or that shade.
What I particularly like about this collaboration is that one can get creative and try various makeups without any limits.
I’m happy with the quality of the product, but the only complaint I have about it is its smell.
