Every beautyholic knows about the L'oreal and Balmain collaboration. You bet, the collection of 12 shades from nudes to super extraordinary shades is just awesome.
After I watched the swatches from beauty bloggers I decided to opt for the tender color that’s called Confidence. Haute couture Confidence, I’d say.
For the first time, L'Oréal Paris collaborates with Balmain to create a range of 12 exclusive couture matte shades designed under the creative direction of Olivier Rousteing himself. Divided into three color themes, representative of the three tribes of L'Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris femininity—Glamazone, Couture, and Rock—accessible beauty meets high fashion. Only for a limited time, indulge in the richest matte colors with intense hydration and comfort.
The lipstick is housed into a golden black shiny tube which willingly collects all fingerprints and stains. I don’t rave about the packaging as I like it when my cosmetics looks clean and neat.
Smell: The product is scented with a standard smell for L’Oreal products. If you haven’t heard it before- make sure you SNIFF THE PRODUCT IN STORE before buying it. Yes, caps lock, to catch your attention, as the product smells of my granny’s old lipstick and it doesn’t fade away for a long time and doesn't taste pleasant.
About the lipstick: It’s of a tender sparkling champagne color that really enlivens my look and makes me look younger.
The formula is moisturizing hence applies very easily though doesn’t wear long, alas.
I like this lipstick shade and I’m ready to admire my makeup with this lippie for the entire day! I’ll probably buy the Confession and Domination shades to add to my collection too.
