Hi!

I’ve finally taken all the photos to show you how beautiful and versatile the palette Eye Shadow Burgundy Times Nine from MAC is.

I think one of the advantages of this palette is its compact size. It doesn’t consist of the endless refills which will be enough to makeup your granddaughter. There’s just sufficient amount of the eyeshadows for you to try out and fall in love with them. I’m almost sure that my palette will come to an end in 2 or 3 years, and I won’t be really bored or fed up with it by that time.

The palette is made of black matte plastic, so it can easily be scratched in a makeup bag. The palette has magnets to close and open it without difficulties.

Hues: despite so many burgundy shades they are all quite wearable, which automatically makes the palette very useful while travelling.

And now I want to tell about each hue more detailed.

In order not to repeat myself, I’ll combine some colors.

Honey Lust - it's not very well-pigmented hue, with a great amount of shimmer in it. It doesn’t go onto the eyelid well and I presume it’s the worst hue in the palette. I think that if they had replaced it with Naked Lunch, the palette might have become a best-selling product.

I guess that on the eyelids the color looks very cheap and what’s more, sometimes this color falls out very much and gets into my eyes, making them look irritated.

Poppyseed, Quarry and Embark -are matte, long-lasting, well-pigmented hues. They are easy to blend, apply evenly and don’t fall out. The color in the palette is the same as I get on my eyelid.

Antiqued - very soft, satin hue. It easily applies on the lid, like creamy eyeshadows, at the same time it blends easily.

Nour - well-pigmented hue with small shimmer which falls out a bit while applying. The hue will suit everyone as it looks beautifully on the eyes.

Haux - I think, every girl knows this hue. Qualitywise this hue is the same as Poppyseed, Quarry and Embark. But I want to highlight it, as its color is really gorgeous.

Most of the time I use Haux eyeshadow. In the photo below you can see how different it can be depending on the light.

Haux can be purple

brown

or have a tad of a red pigment

Star Violet is much pigmented satin hue with colorful shimmer. Depending on the light it can be brown, bronze, purple or red.

Sketch - well-pigmented plum color with tiny crimson shimmer. It’s the burgundy hue as it is. On the eyes it looks purple, brown or even black (in artificial light in the evening)

I think it’s time to show you my make-up looks with Burgundy Times Nine palette.

In conclusion I want to say that all the hues are long-lasting (except the Honey Lust). The Burgundy palette is of good-quality, and the hues are all very beautiful, and despite the name, they are universal. With this palette you can create endless looks for both day and night.

I think this palette is 5 stars with a minus, but for technical reasons I can’t give it a minus, so 4 will be quite objective, I think.

The Honey Last hue upset me very much, and the palette itself became much scratched in the makeup bag.

I hope that you liked my make-up looks, and I delivered you some aesthetic delight:)

Thank you very much! Smile
