Hi girls! Here I am with another nude find from MAC. Today it’s MAC Mineralize Lipglass.
Color: lovingly yours
It’s a gentle nude with a barely detectable pink undertone.
Promises:
Enhanced with a 77-Mineral Moisture Complex, this sophisticated formula keeps lips soft and silky, providing a luminous, modern shine. Smoothes on with a plush applicator. 12 pearlescent shades in stylish new packaging.
There is nothing special about the packaging. The only thing I’d like to highlight is the very convenient and plush sponge applicator, which allows me to spread the lipgloss without making my lips look messy.
I felt rather sceptical towards those promises about 77 minerals it features. The lipgloss feels just like the others I own. Considering the price, it must be flawless. Let’s see if it lives up to the expectations.
Swatches under daylight:
My impressions:
- First of all, it’s sticky. But luckily, the lipgloss feels sticky only during application. Once it settles down, everything’s ok.
- the packaging doesn’t let you take too much out of the tube. The formula isn’t too thick and yet viscous.
- The lip gloss is absolutely scentless
- It shows no clumping and leaves no residue, like many lip products do
- The color is nude and the finish is glossy.
Lasting power:I was pleasantly surprised with it, taking the wet formula and glossy finish into account. It’s 2-3 hours of wear, and the lip gloss feels nice all this time.
The lip gloss does moisturize and soothe dry lips, hiding flaky spots. This lip gloss deserves praise for its caring properties as well as for comfortable wear.
My look with it:
I truly recommend that you try this or some other shades from the line. The only cons are stickiness at first, and price.
