Today I’d like to tell you about a good product that I found in a drugstore segment. It’s a review about the Makeup Revolution «LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER». So, first things first.
Packaging: This highlighter follows the trend, if I may say so…
It comes in a glass bottle with a pipette. The glass seems to be sturdy and thick.
The dropper is also made of glass.
The material is very beautiful and transparent.
The only reservation I have about it is the material of the upper part of a dropper (pipette) … It reminds me of a thin rubber.
However, it’s just my personal take on it. Plus, it doesn’t influence the quality of the product.
When I started writing this review, I’ve also noticed that the sticker on the bottle was not even… I can’t comment on it yet…
The sticker is golden and has black lettering on it, which includes the name of the product and its ingredients.
More than that, you can find some information about the expiry date, size and country there. The name of the shade is indicated at the bottom.

Shelf life: 12 months after unpacking.
Smell: it’s not enjoyable and I would even call it synthetic, but it’s noticeable only when you sniff at it closely. The smell doesn’t linger on my skin when applying.

The ingredients are not all-natural, but they didn’t actually promise anything like that.
Shade: I have the shade Liquid Champagne. It’s light golden that is definitely suitable for everyone!
The texture is pretty liquid and watery. It may flow when applying with huge drops. In general, it applies very well and doesn’t show any streaks. More than that, the payoff is amazing! And you can clearly see it in the pictures.
When choosing a highlighter, we always pay attention to the glistening particles to see if they are visible on our skin. I think this one doesn’t have much shimmer to it…
It’s more like a liquid gold. As far as I’m concerned, I love it!
Application: It applies very well and gives a nice color. The coverage is bright even after the first layer.

Layering: it layers amazingly well! The more you apply, the brighter glow you get.

As far as I understand, this highlighter is not for daily makeup and casual wear.
The picture doesn’t convey the beauty properly, but this highlighter has fine glowing drops in it, which are so gorgeous and pretty visible. The glow is noticeable from afar and I love it!
Nevertheless if you are into a soft and gentle glow, you still can purchase it for two reasons:
If you are going to mix it with a foundation or use under a foundation.
If you are going to use it for your body along with various body oils, creams and sprays.
Where to apply: cheekbones, cupid’s bow, under the brows and to the chin.
If you don’t feel like using it for your face, you can emphasize your legs and body in summer! This way is especially helpful when there is an important occasion.
Wear time: It’s stunning!
It wears 5-6 hours really well on me. I didn’t even take off the swatches for a reason. I washed my hands,etc, but it faded just a bit! The glow was still there.
Now a trick that I learnt recently. If you follow the makeup trends, you probably know that plenty of brands bring out specific body and facial sprays with glowing particles in them now.
But you can add a few drops of this highlighter to any setting spray or body oil for a tan and you are a queen this summer!
If you have a nice setting spray or a thermal water that you no longer use, you can use them this way!

I give it 5 stars with a minus, because the smell and uneven sticker leave much to be desired.
