I’ve received the Makeup Revolution Pure Pigments Loose Eyeshadow in Levity by accident. I wouldn’t have bought it myself, as I already have a similar color in an eyeshadow palette by the same brand.
Even though it’s not a bad product, it doesn’t deserve 5 stars, in my opinion. I think, such pigments must look equally good, regardless of whether they are applied wet or dry. It doesn’t work this way with Levity. When I try to apply it wet, the pigment fades and the result looks patchy. This shade is very dry. Other shades (there are 25 in the line, if I’m not mistaken), might have different quality.
The packaging is quite simple and convenient. Usually I pour some pigment into the black cap and take it out with a brush. Initially, the product came in a protective film.
The color payoff is not bad, when the pigment is applied dry.
The eyeshadow doesn’t fall out, which was a pleasant surprise. However, it sticks to the eyelashes.
Of course, I use mascara in my make-up. As it turned out, the pigment looks good when combined with Colour Pop Creme Gel Liner.
So, I recommend the eyeshadow, but it’s not versatile, because it cannot be applied wet. I prefer the pressed mono eyeshadow from the same brand.
