Welcome to my review!
I’m always so excited to have new additions to my cosmetic bag! The more the better! So, today it’s about the Day to Night Eyeshadow Palette from Makeup Revolution.
............................................................................................................................
Quantity of shades: 12
Weight: 14g.

Design:
The design is simple without any frills. It opens up pretty easily, so you won’t have to break your nails. The cap has a see-through window. A mirror is not included. The outer box is also not provided. The plastic gets scratches in no time, which is very clear in the pictures.
So, do not keep it in a makeup bag close to the other makeup products, otherwise the packaging will soon look unpresentable.
The double-ended sponge applicator that is so popular with most brands is provided. I use brushes for this purpose, so this applicator is of no use for me.
By the way, it’s quite workable and picks up a good amount of the product. So, it probably just requires a little technique adjustment and may be useful for someone.

The DAY to NIGHT Eyeshadow Palette ensures a huge variety of shades beginning from pastels to bright and complicated ones. It’s a nice option for a light daytime-, dramatic evening- and non-traditional creative looks.
The quality surprised me positively on all accounts! I’m blown away! I honestly didn’t expect such a quality, but this product is one of the best in my collection so far. It’s definitely on par with for ex., Sleek.
Moreover, it’s finely milled and has a silky smooth texture. The eyeshadow picks up to my brush or an applicator perfectly and glides over my eyes also very well. It hardly leaves any fallout. I can notice some shimmer under my eyes only when applying the shades with huge shimmer to them.
All shades are highly pigmented: It covers up my skin tone in a single pass. The brightness is alright even without a base. More than that, it layers and blends out very well.
Staying power: It’s legit! I have dry skin, so I don’t always use an eyeshadow base, which doesn’t prevent me from wearing it for about 7-8 hours. The dark and bright pigment may fade only insignificantly towards evening. And it stays put all day till makeup removal whenever I use a base. Plus, it doesn’t crease then.

Now separately about each shade:
#1: It’s a milky-white shade with a satin finish. It’s perfect as a base color for an eye pencil or eyeshadow. Also, it looks good in the inner corner of my eye. I use it practically in every makeup.
#2: It’s a light warm champagne color with a satin finish. It works alright both as a shadow and highlighter. It refreshes my look and is suitable for a daily and evening makeup.
#3: It’s a peach copper with a muted satin finish. This shade is perfect as a transition color.
#4: It is similar to the previous shade, but this one is lighter and has a more distinct metallic overflow. The shade is very warm.
#5: This is the real highlight of the palette. It looks amazing when applied to the movable eyelid. It’s glowing, expressive and festive-looking.
#6: It’s a complicated metallic gray-lilac.
The shade is a little bit challenging and may look messy. Also, it vanishes when blending out. I guess, this hue compliments cool undertones better.
#7: It’s a deep gray with a blue undertone and silver shimmer to it.
#8: It’s a cold satin violet. The color is intense, complicated and more suitable for the evening.
#9: It’s brown-black with big glistening particles to them. Some part of the particles fall out when applying to my eyelid. The shade is a pain in the butt to blend out, because it may look messy. It is meant for smokey eyes.
#10: It’s a complex gray with an olive touch. It has a metallic overflow and big shimmer particles. The shade is meant for evening makeup.
#11: It’s blue with a hint of green. The shimmer is noticeable in the pan, but it is undetectable on my eyelid. This shade is a little bit fiddly to work with. The most important thing is not to go overboard, because it may look too vintage.
Putting on a good amount of the pigment makes your look expensive-looking and breathtaking.
The pigmentation is not that perfect here.
#12: Aquamarine is the brightest shade out there. I chose this palette over many because of it. The shade is summer-like, merry and reminiscent of a sea. Perfect!

The palette in action:
1. How to use blue shadows:
2. Not the best makeup of mine: I couldn’t yet get the hang of the shade No.6 that I used here in my crease. I guess it will look more appropriate on my movable eyelid as a base color for lines.
3. Cat eye look: The shade #10 is on my movable eyelid and the shade #7 is in my crease here. The shade #3 is used as a blending shade.
4. Here, I applied the shade No.5 to my eyelid and created lines with an eyeliner.
5. The shade No.8 is applied to my crease. The camera doesn’t really convey the color, but it’s pretty intense in reality.
6. Smokey eyes: I don’t do this in everyday life, but tried to create this look for pictures only
7. Ultramarine dreams:

Pros:
➊ Unique color range;
➋ Awesome pigmentation;
➌ Wears really long;
➍ Doesn’t fall out and is easy to layer and blend out in most cases;
➎ Affordable.
Cons:
➊ Looks shabby due to the scratches on the packaging.
The DAY to NIGHT Eyeshadow Palette is hands down worth a look. It is of startlingly awesome quality for drugstore makeup. More than that, the exceptional color range always makes me creative.
Highly recommended!
