This Maybelline The Falsies Push-Up Drama mascara is not so easy. It doesn’t live up to any of its promises but still, I keep on buying it again and again. Maybe, that’s all because of the lack of drama in my life.

~ Texture
The formula of this mascara is rather runny, so, on the one hand, it’s super easy to coat my lashes with it, but on the other, it takes too long to dry out.
This causes into:
first of all, the maximum of my attention, especially within the first minutes because the risk of staining my face with the product is really high. Oh, God save me from sneezing or closing my eyes at that moment;
and secondly, when I apply the product, I have to be really neat because if I accidentally touch my skin with the wand, my skin will be stained all over.

My lashes
They are short, straight and black. If I don’t coat them with mascara, from a distance it may look as though I don’t have any eyelashes at all because they aren’t curled.

It’s silicone. I don’t welcome silicone brushes because I always prick my eyes with them. And the silicone brushes always prick me the most.
But this specific Maybelline brush doesn’t hurt me at all. I don’t know, maybe they created a special brush for the ham-handed like myself, or maybe it’s just the merest accident, but this brush is truly very soft.

I dare to say that it does lengthen my lashes a little and maybe there was the smallest bit of a curl. But this result doesn’t have to do anything with the promised false lashes.
~ Clumps and clumping
I always wear my mascara with one layer. And even that one layer already looks messy on my lashes: they look clumped and my eyelids are stained. It seems to be impossible to apply this mascara over my non-made-up eyes.

~ Staying power
This is the main reason I love this product (and the price tag of course). It’s unbelievably long-wearing! I can rub my eyes, walk in the rain and even have a nap with it on. All my makeup will vanish after all those tortures but not my mascara:

no bleeding
no fallout
This is the reason why I buy this mascara again and again.

Girls, let’s finally take it - for the false lashes effect you need.... false lashes. And as for this mascara, one has to have great skills, which isn’t my strong point.
Even though this Maybelline The falsies Push-Up Drama mascara does have some serious drawbacks, it’s still one of the best mascaras staying power-wise among those that I’ve ever tried.
So, I can recommend it for purchasing and I buy it and keep on buying again and again.
