Hey there,

I have oily skin, which is extremely oily in summer, but I’ve never used powders. I just didn’t like them, although the oily sheen bothered me a lot. It usually happened that when I applied a foundation, I already had an oily sheen in an hour or two.

I’ve been using Maybelline Affinitone Foundation for a few years. This product is perfect for my skin, but when a new Fit Me range for oily skin appeared, I decided to give it a go and bought the foundation first and then the powder.

Price: $7.99

Some girls are being picky saying that the packaging is huge and doesn’t fit any purse… I think it’s an ordinary case that fits even the smallest purse.

Volume: 9 g

There we can see 2 sections. One has the powder and the other has a mirror and a sponge. Here I agree, that the packaging is not really convenient to use, because the powder and the mirror are in different sections. Nevertheless, I use this powder at home only, so it’s not a huge hindrance for me.

The product is available in 4 shades. The range is not huge, but I’ve found the shade that matches my skin tone.

I have it in No.104, which has a slight pink hue compared to No. 105. By the way, the foundation of the range is also No. 104. This shade whitens my skin, so it’s suitable for blondes only.

I loved the texture when I was testing it in the drugstore. It’s very soft, silky and lightweight, plus it applies very well.

It’s not dusty with a brush or sponge at all.

Also, it doesn’t have any smell.

The sponge applicator is included and quite decent. It doesn’t pick up much product. I love using it both with a brush and a sponge.

I have also a puff from Chanel and I like using it too. Anyway, the result is always the same and it’s perfect.

I always use the powder only for setting my makeup and mattifying my skin. I don’t use it alone. In winter I always apply a foundation, but in summer I’m going to try the powder alone to remove excessive greasy sheen.

  • How it looks alone without foundation:

The coverage is very thin. The photo is not very clear. I don’t have any pimples at the moment, so the coverage is hardly noticeable. It doesn’t conceal any blemishes, but it mattifies well, evens out my skin tone and covers up my pores with blackheads.

I love using this powder with the Fit Me foundation. I never had properly matte skin and an oily sheen appeared too quickly, but now my skin is really matte and the effect lasts longer than usual.

It doesn’t absolutely dry out my skin and feels very comfortable. I don’t feel in on my skin with or without foundation.

It emphasizes peeling, but it’s an issue with most powders, because they mattify your skin and are not suitable for use in winter. I don’t use it frequently at this time of the year, but I’m going to use it every day in summer!

This powder matches my skin type really well, although it won’t be good for dry skin.

I love when I test something new and it doesn’t disappoint Smile

Thanks for reading!
