Hey girls!
Mascara is the product I always change and I can’t remember any mascara that I repurchased. And the reason for that is the constant search of my ideal product. But once, while wandering about a beauty store I saw THIS ONE.
I know that many professional makeup artists as well as beauty bloggers praise this product, so of course I grabbed it and went to a checkout.
Later I found out that this mascara doesn’t suit some kind of lashes and mine were of course among this group.
Price: $4-6
Color: Blackest black
♥ The packaging screams cheap. It’s bright and looks like some baby product but once you look closer you’ll see that it’s just a cheap makeup product, especially in comparison with any high-end mascaras, like Givenchy for instance.
Anyway, who cares about the outer design when the result is more important!
............................................................. ♥ Wand ♥ .....................................................................
♥ It’s silicone and pink, is there anybody that would be pleased with a pink mascara wand? What weirdo came up with this idea? How is this shape of mascara brush convenient to coat eyelashes? No way to cope with it! Seriously! The brush is inconvenient, strange and weird! Once I even get into my eyes with its bristles and hurt myself with them.
The only advantage of this product is the wiper that works really nice.

♥ My impressions when using the Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Washable Mascara ♥ .............................................................
♥ My lashes: They are so-so, frankly speaking. They are naturally straight and very thin. I have nothing to do but to curl them with a lash curler or I always risk to end up with my lashes sticking out in different directions.
♥ I’ve already mentioned the brush - it’s inconvenient! I deem it’s to make the lashes separated with the long bristles. So why does it do absolutely the opposite then? The formula is rather liquid and makes the lashes stick together. No length or curl at all. On the contrary, it damages the curl that I do with the curler.
My lashes look limp and short if I coat them with this product. It’s almost unreal to coat the lower lashes with this wand. What’s more it flakes off by the end of the day. Volume? No! It stains my upper lids so much that I always have to use a Q-tip to wipe it off my skin.
♥ In this photo I didn’t comb my lashes beforehand and didn’t use a Q-tip to wipe the stains from the lids. And the product is applied only one layer.
♥ And that is the best result I can get with this mascara. I tried my best to coat my lashes and after the application I combed the clumped lashes. And this is the maximum of the result. And I don’t think it’s good.
The formula is washable and I prefer olive oil for removing my makeup.
.............................................................. ♥ THE BOTTOM LINE ♥ ...................................................................
This mascara is one of the worst that I’ve ever tried. I don't know how it’ll perform in a month for example, though two weeks of torture was enough for me! It won’t probably be the worst for some thick and naturally curled eyelashes but for me it’s awful.
no length at all
no curl, on the contrary it destroys curled lashes
doesn't suit thin lashes
no volume
can crumble during the day
terrible and inconvenient brush wand
I DON’T RECOMMEND Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Washable Mascara. Repurchase? No. I won’t even take it for free.
Thanks for your attention!
