As many of you all, I was also attracted by the commercial of this product and bought myself the MAYBELLINE Lash Sensational. The name is promising, I can clearly see the marketing manager’s job here

One more fatty tube by MAYBELLINE, but this one looks especially beautiful. It’s a pinkish-pearl tube with a black lettering. I like it.

This mascara is ideal for those who love to coat their lashes with mascara and for those who get excited doing it.
✔ Smell: Personally for me, the smell of the product is quite strong, but all in all, it isn’t off-putting.
✔ Consistency: It’s creamy, close to liquid, I’d even say. A few weeks later, it becomes even more creamy, but not at all thick!
✔ Color: intense and black
✔ Brush: Silicone and big. On the inside there are shorter bristles, and on the outer side they are fan-shaped. I liked the fact that the brush isn’t firm, but elastic and comfortable in use.
✔ The stopper in this mascara isn’t very good for me, as I have to wipe off the excess of the product all the time.
My impressions and the result:
If you ask me, I can’t coat my eyelashes with the shorter bristles. I find it impossible, as they don’t comb my eyelashes at all. But I find it rather useful when lifting my lashes up, giving the curl. I apply the product only with the longer bristles of the brush.

Thanks to the brush, my lashes are curled. But, honestly, I haven’t noticed any dramatic effect or volume. By the way, my lashes look a tad stuck together, and there’s no separation…
Let’s look at two coats:
My lashes definitely look thicker, but even more stuck together at the same time. If you apply too much, you can have clumps. And I also can’t say that the product gave any length to my lashes, no… If your natural lashes are short, you won’t get any lengthening effect. But as for curl, here yes. There’s a good curling effect!
In general, this product doesn’t stain my skin around the eyes during the day. But after 8 or 10 hours of wearing, it can flake a bit. I haven’t noticed any discomfort wearing it and easily removed with my make-up remover.
My opinion about what kind of eyelashes this product will be suitable for:
If your eyelashes are naturally beautiful with a good curl and they don’t stick to different directions, then MAYBELLINE Lash Sensational has good chances to become your go-to mascara!
If your eyelashes are thick, long, but stick out, then this product is not for you. It won’t comb and discipline them. I want to repeat myself saying that the mascara’s brush will curl your lashes well only if you have your own natural curl. If you don’t, no magic will happen. The same goes for length. You will get some length though, but only because of the natural curl.
My eyelashes are very finicky and grow in different directions. Besides on right and left eyes they look absolutely different. I also want to show you some other results on my other eye where I wanted to discipline my eyelashes, but it was in vain… They still were sticking to different directions, but yes, covered with mascara.
As you can see in the photo, the result didn’t come out well.
In general, I like this product and recommend it only to those who I described above.
