Hello!
Today I want to share my impressions of the MAYBELLINE Master Shape eyebrow pencil.
I never cared much about my eyebrows. I did them at home by pulling out some individual hairs and then applied eyebrow shadows or filled them in with pencil. But then something happened to me and I realized that beautiful eyebrows can really transform my look and that I should define them.
And then I simply let my eyebrows grow. I didn’t pluck them, I mean at all. I even moisturized my eyebrows with oils and lightly massaged them with special brushes or just fingers. So do not be afraid of photos
During that period, I used eyeshadows, but they contained shimmer, and therefore, they shone. It was annoying and I decided to buy an eyebrow pencil instead.
I did not want to try anything unknown or cheap, so my choice fell on Maybelline.
At home, I immediately grabbed a mirror and started working on my eyebrow shape
+ I was very surprised by the softness of the pencil. It literally slides over my skin, filling the eyebrows without gaps. It's easy to paint an even eyebrow with.
+ I like its waxy texture. At first I thought that my eyebrows were still wet. But it turned out that no, it's the way the pencil fixes the hairs. For me, this is a big advantage, since I have long hairs in my thin eyebrows. Yeah
+ The brush is excellent. It’s really pleasant to comb my brows with, I’m so psyched when I do it
+ The color suits me perfectly. It’s a cold dark brown. Neither reddish, nor gray. I am so delighted!
And now to the disadvantages.
1.Because of its softness, the pencil won’t last long. It must be sharpened before use every other time or even every time, if you paint thick eyebrows.
2. It is not long-lasting. If you accidentally touch your eyebrow, you can easily erase it. My pencil withstood a very intense work out though, when I was literally sweating afterwards. But I tried not to touch my eyes, only wiped my forehead
3. Price: I find it a bit too pricey, considering its lasting power. But I think I can overlook it. It is better to buy a soft pencil for $5 from a well-known brand than scratch your skin with a cheap disaster from a dollar store.
Conclusion: I will probably purchase the pencil again, although I really want to have my brows colored in a salon and try out henna tinting as well:)
