Hello ladies!
Today I’m here to post my review of the product by NYX. Recently I started to pay more attention to my brows and gave a go to a brow gel. I was impressed by the result it gave and the simplicity of the use. But I decided not to stop with the gel only and gave the brow pencil a go as well. And you know what? I’ve fallen in love with it even more than with a brow gel! 
So, the hero of my today’s review is the NYX POWDER PENCIL #3 SOFT BROWN.
GENERAL INFORMATION: In total there are 9 shades in the collection. There are taupes, fair and all the shades of brown presented.
I was presented with this product and I find it a little bit too fair for my eyebrows. I guess that #07 ESPRESSO or # 06 BRUNETTE might have been better for me. But since it is a present, well, I’m still happy with it.
The brow pencil looks standard: classical wooden packaging and simple design.
On one end there’s a pencil itself and on the other there’s a spoolie brush.
The brush is fine by the way. It combs all the hairs very well and blends the applied pencil.
As for sharpening the product: since there wasn’t a sharpener included, I sharpen it with a usual pencil sharpener and I like the result I get. I don’t like when the pencil is too sharp as I’m not skilled enough to fill in my brows with it, so I prefer the pencil to be of a good sharpening but not too much.
I was also impressed by the fact that when I press the pencil, it doesn’t break down. It doesn’t melt from my body temperature either.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE #3 SOFT BROWN:
I would describe it as a cool mixture of taupe and coffee colors. It looks light brown.
It doesn’t look red on the eyebrows. I think it’ll be great for girls with brown hair.
SWATCHES OF THE # 03 SOFT BROWN SHADE:
I have rather thick brows. My issue with the brows is to pluck them right and give the right shape to them. In general, I don’t need to create any new brows on my face, just fill in some patchy places and make them more defined. In a minute I have the following result: here I used only this brow pencil to fill in my brows and make them look natural. I always comb them in the end, that way they look neat, I presume.
I like this naturally looking result very much! Since the color is a bit fair for me, the brows don’t arrest all attention. My face features become lighter and the look seems to be kinder (joke)
It’s very important to note that the product isn’t long-lasting and it may leave marks and stains. Remember that the next time you put your head on your husband’s shoulder in a white shirt. I remove it with my face cleanser.

OVERALL: The product is fine. If you are a newbie in the world of brows then buy this brow pencil and you’ll fall in love with it. It’s very easy to use and make the brows look natural and beautiful.
