I’ve never said anything good about the Morphy brand. Honestly, I used to treat it as though it didn’t exist for me at all. But I couldn’t stay calm to their collaboration palette with Jaclyn Hill, because the shades there were too captivating for me. Looking through the thousands of reviews, I finally had to give up and buy it.
Package: It’s a big and lightweight cardboard box with a magnet closure. There’s no mirror here, though I deem it would have been very useful as the size of the palette is pretty big.
The palette offers 30 eyeshadow shades. It’ll take too long to describe each shade separately, so I tried to take true to life pictures of the swatches in rows. And later I’ll tell you about their characteristics in general.

So, the color selection is wide here, but I wish there were some blending and cool-toned shades as well. But I can say that I’m delighted even with these shades which are in the palette, as my skin tone is mostly warm-toned.
The shades have very thought-out placing. Picking up one shade, you can see what color will be best of all to pair it with. I think I don’t have to mention the variety of shades, as you can see that there are a lot of them, hence there’s endless amount of makeup looks for any occasion that you can create using this palette.
I want to highlight one shade from the entire palette which is the blue metallic from the fourth row. It stains my lids with pink pigment which doesn’t want to leave my skin until the next morning. You should know about it, otherwise, you risk getting ill-looking eyes.
Product quality: Honestly, there’s nothing to be picky about with this palette quality-wise. The pigmentation is good, the texture is soft and the eyeshadows are really packed with the pigment. No problems while blending either, even if I mix two colors together, there’s never a nasty muddy stain between them.
I also want to treat special attention to the metallic shades. Oh, guys, these are amazing! They are so buttery, bright and beautiful… I can easily apply them with a brush, as well as with a finger and get such an amazing foiled look.
The matte shades are slightly worse pigmented but still, it isn’t too bad to call them of average pigmentation. They are uber comfortable to work with and they are easier to pack with the pigment, rather than to blend out.
The lasting power: Well, I guess that one day I just stop to mention this fact in my reviews at all, because all the eyeshadows that I have stay all night long on my lids if I apply them over a primer. So, all that you need to do is to buy a good-quality eyeshadow primer.
Overall: I recommend this palette for everybody. If you’re a newbie, you’ll still easily get on well with it. And if you’re a professional, you’ll fall for the color selection and their variety too. This palette will also be a discovery for those who don’t want to bother with buying a lot of eyeshadow palettes, and will prefer having one big and versatile palette. As for me, well, this Mophie & Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette is the endless source of inspiration.
