The Italian brand Nabla, the Soul Blooming Eyeshadow Palette in particular, broke the Internet this spring and piqued the interest of everyone who is into the makeup game. Those who are eyeshadow junkies like me are raving about this palette whenever they see the swatches on Instagram. :р
So, I’m really excited to bring you my thoughts on this new release of the brand.
The palette is made of a thick two-layer cardboard. It has a floral design and a big mirror. Inside you can find 12 shades.
The ingredients and all further information can be found on the back of the casing. Nabla guarantees the good quality of the ingredients used, plus their products are cruelty-free.
Made in Italy.
So let’s move on to the most fascinating bit!
In a nutshell - this palette is out-of-this-world for me!
I’ve tried quite a myriad of various eyeshadow palettes, but this one really took my breath away. By that I mean not only gorgeous shades, but also their quality.
This eyeshadow is soft, finely milled and even. It crumbles even when applying with the softest brush. If you are not much into such dry formulas, you probably won’t be as excited as I am.
This eyeshadow keeps the best traditions of Lorac and ABH palettes! These are the very brands I can compare Nabla to.
The pigmentation is first class! All swatches are applied to my clean and dry skin almost in one pass. The product can be used both dry and wet.
The description of each shade can be found at the official website, but I’d like to add something.
HONEY DRIP is an incredible duochrome white-rose gold! It looks very pretty in the inner corners of my eyes.
GEA is a gentle apricot shade that can be used for darkening the eyelid.
CHAMOMILE is a muted beige that is perfect as a base or a transition color.
BOLERO is a warm matte pink for the movable eyelid. It can also be used as a blush.
MIDDLE KARMA is the right brown. It’s versatile and bloody irreplaceable.
GARDEN GATE is my favorite so far. It’s a purple duochrome with blue sparkles. This shade makes each makeup exceptional.
CLIMBING ROSE is a glowing pink. It’s just the right accent to the eyelid!
GARÇON is a warm glowing bronze.
ANEMONE is indigo of amazing quality. It’s deep, vibrant and expressive!
FLOWERY is matte lavender that looks refreshing to my eyes. It’s intense and non-traditional.
PHILOSOPHY is another sparkling shade in this palette. The particles are pretty big and add something peculiar to any shade. It looks blueish on my eyelid.
CARAVAGGIO is a deep dark chocolate shade that is good for lines and emphasizing the lower eyelid.
Now I’d like to show you how soft the formula of the satin shades with shimmer is:
Plus, two incredible highlighters in a close-up:
Aren’t you bored yet? Let’s move on makeup looks then!
I’m obsessed with pink shades in spring and summer and there is nothing I can do about it
Here, I darkened my crease and emphasized the lower eyelid:
Here is a bronze makeup with the inner rim of my waterline being blue:
The shade Anemone can be definitely used in different ways. For the eyelid:
Or as an eyeliner:
Muted ‘office-like’ makeups with matte shades? Easy-breezy!
I can’t help but show you the makeup with the gorgeous shade of blue wisteria:
Plus, Garden Gate is used here as a topper. I applied it with a wet flat brush.
You can also make the coats thinner without using the matte eyeshadow base. The results are stunning as well:
Or you can rock the colors and use the palette to the fullest extent!
I always use this product with an eyeshadow base, but if your eyelids are not really oily, you can do without it. The Nabla eyeshadow wears alright. When I have the base on, I have absolutely no complaints about the staying power of the shadows. They last from morning till evening very well.
My verdict: The Soul Blooming Eyeshadow Palette is the palette I reach for every day! It’s unique and authentic! You can create a good deal of looks with it! I’m totally pleased with the shades and their quality. Therefore I give it 5 stars and say go for it!
