Winter is coming to an end, which means that soon we will all take out our pink blush, golden highlighters as well as bronzers. But there’s a bronzer that can be really used all year round, even in winter. I’m talking about NARS Bronzing Powder in the color Laguna.
The packaging is rather big, yet still compact. If needed you’ll easily put it into your purse. It’s made of rubberized plastic material which is such a great fingerprints collector that are so difficult to remove afterwards.
No brush or velvet pouch were provided. But inside the compact there’s a big and handy mirror.

This bronzing powder is finely milled and pressed tightly. But still it can dust a little when I touch it with a brush.
A densely packed brush can really “break” the powder’s surface so choose the brush wisely. I think an average pack or even soft brushes will be fine.
The pigmentation is average which is a huge advantage for me as the risk to stain my face is minimal. The formula is buildable and easy to blend.
The staying power is also nice, for about 6-8 hours for sure and then it starts fading little by little.

by NARS especially in the
Laguna color for its shade! It’s a grey-brown-orange shade with slight red and olive undertones. There’s also some golden shimmer to the product which shines only in the bright sun making my skin look more tanned and fresh.
I can’t say that this very Laguna color is unique and you’ll never find a dupe for it but it really differs from any other red toned high-end and mass market bronzers.
Let’s look at the bronzer on my face.
My makeup without a bronzing powder.
Add some Laguna with a super lightweight layer with a fluffy brush all over my face, paying special attention to the sides of the forehead, under cheekbones area, sides of the nose and my chin. Don’t forget to apply some product on your neck as well to avoid “tanned” edges.
In total the product looks harmonious and natural. What’s more, it makes my total look softer and warmer.

I dare to say that the Laguna Bronzing Powder by NARS is the most pleasant and convenient bronzer that I’ve ever tried. I want to use it all the time, as it’s so easy to blend, it has the right shade that can be worn all year round. And don’t be afraid that it’ll fade by noon, nothing like that.
