NARS Orgasm Limited Edition Oversized Blush
A few weeks ago I got my hands onto this limited edition of NARS Orgasm blush.
Before that, I had a deluxe sample of it which I was given as a thank you present for purchases. And that was the time when I fell for it. I started dreaming of having the full size. But actually, that black casing really stopped me from immediate purchase.
And later I found out they were about to release a new collection where the products would be housed in bigger and differently designed compacts. I knew that I had to wait for that release whatever it could take me.
At the time when I’m writing this review, the full collection is still available.
So, the packaging. The blush comes packed in a beautiful shiny pink box.

Inside, it has a square glossy casing of rose gold color. The sticker on the back doesn’t reveal much, only the name of the shade, branded logo and info on where it was manufactured. Unfortunately, I have a bad habit of tearing off all the stickers from my makeup, so I don’t have it anymore. Besides, I also forgot to take a picture of it.
The front of the compat has the NARS logo engraved in pink and the Orgasm in white.

I’ve never been a fan of the NARS compacts. They’re always very strict, simple and a great deal of their products usually come packed with those simple black compacts with the brand on it. However, the Orgasm collection stands out with this unique pink color. For me, this color is pleasant to look at and really aesthetic.
It’s noteworthy that this compact seems to be lightweight.
I guess you know what I mean. When you splurge on makeup, you want it to be heavy and pleasant in your hands. However, this product will never supply you with those emotions.
The compact it plastic and it also willingly gathers my fingerprints.
On the other hand, I think I need to be thankful for the lack of the paper compact.
Let’s open it. What’s inside? A mirror and the blush of course. The mirror is full-length to the top cap. It had a plastic protective liner with the brand. I love this brush for travelling because the mirror is big here and I can touch-up quickly at any place when I need it.

The shade Orgasm stands out with its unique pink-peach shade with golden shimmer. I think it’ll flatter any skin tone.
This shade is claimed to be universal. Honestly, it’s a very rare occasion when something really suits my pale skin tone. But, all the products from this collection, seem to be created specially for me. And this blush goes first!
At first, I used to think it would be too vibrant. You see, on the pan, it’s bright pink. But it opens up differently on my skin.
The texture of the product is very gentle and silky to the touch.
In the sun or flash, my blush shifts so beautifully.
Here are the swatches of the shade on my hand under daytime lights and with a flash:

I prefer my Real Techniques brush to apply it. The blending it fuss-free and it’s always difficult to overdo.
This blush literally glows my skin from within and it appears so healthy.

In the end, I can say that I can highly recommend this blush. It appears so gentle on my skin and flatters any look. And yeah, it’s the bomb for everyday, as well as when you’re out visiting.
