Lippie! Bright lippie! Matte bright lippie! Matte red bright lippie! This is all about the Nouba Millebaci. There’s never enough of red lipsticks. So, meet the newest resident of my beauty bag:
The Nouba brand is famous for its legendary matte lipsticks. Especially for the #7 color - which is ideal red, suitable for any girl. But I decided not to follow all the others and bought another red color, but a little bit more interesting, I think. I bought #48. It’s a beautiful neon berry color with cool undertones and satin casting. I can’t even describe it right. I’d say that it’s diluted red with a neon gleam.
Let’s start with the pluses:
+ beautiful minimalistic packaging. I know it’s an important thing for many girls.
+ considering the price of some of my other lipsticks, this one isn’t pricey at all
+ wide range of colors
+ good quality applicator which helps to beautifully contour my lips even without a lip pencil
+ ideally matte finish
+ staying power up to 8 hours
+ it can be easily removed by micellar water or make-up remover
+ surprisingly, but it doesn’t dry my lips. Only a little bit, maybe.
The product is easy to apply and within one minute it dries and becomes totally matte.
The lippie is a tad scented, but the smell disappears after a few minutes. I properly take care of my lips, which I also advise you to do, if you like matte finish as much as I do.
The only minus of this product, which I actually took away one star off, is the way how it fades from my lips. After a meal, I mean some fatty food, the lipstick will stay only on the contours, but that’s not a problem and can be easily corrected. The most important is to apply as thin layer as possible. But, if you don’t eat anything for about 4 hours or so, the product will crack with tiny pieces. The girls who have tried matte lipstick at least once will understand what I’m writing about.
But I like the color very much, and I do wear this lippie despite its minus. Besides, I want to try some other colors, more nude ones.
