But, it’s so difficult to find your ideal product. Sometimes a lipstick can be badly pigmented or be of patchy coverage, or flake or even don’t look matte at all. I want to tell you about my new go-to: a stunning liquid matte lipstick, which turned out really cool. Meet Millebaci by the Italian NoUBA brand.

The tube is made of thick and quality plastic. It isn’t scratched and the lettering stays well on it. For me these factors are important, as I like to carry all my beautiful cosmetics in my purse and don’t feel ashamed taking it out to touch-up.
The applicator is the best for this liquid consistency! It does its job way better compared to some professional make-up brushes. This applicator is soft and thick. It helps to give even coverage and even contours.
In the photo below you can see its tad curved shape. You may think that this shape is strange and inconvenient, but actually it’s not! the applicator’s curve helps to apply the product from the first go, leaving no patches.
This lippie has a sweet, floral and fruit smell. However, I can smell it only during application.
The texture is creamy, light and soft.
The product is really highly pigmented. Even in one coat your lips blemishes or moles have no chance to be visible.
In a couple of minutes, the product turns completely matte.
It’s important to know that there’s no room for mistakes. You should try your best to apply the product as evenly as possible to avoid smudging of the contours. Use a lip pencil or some foundation to do it. Since the pigment settles in your skin well and dries really quickly, it becomes almost impossible to correct your mishaps. The only way out then will be to wash off and reapply.
This lippie has a drawback:
It really dries out my lips. They claim that the formula is light which gives lightweight coverage, but that's not true. I feel it on my lips. While wearing it, I always struggle a desire to take out my lip balm and apply it onto my lips to ease that dryness and tightening feeling.
Before the application you should moisturize and nourish your lips well. If you don’t, you’ll end up with your lips dried, flaky and tightened on the contours. But still with a matte finish, that’s true.
In all other respects, the product is great! I like its faultless color, easy application and even coverage. It doesn’t crack, smudge or fade even within a few hours of wearing. After it dried it gives non-sticky coverage which is smudge-proof. I can easily do my business and not to look in the mirror every 20 mins. It’s a rare occasion to meet such a good quality product.
I sing praises to its staying power, as it stays on for 5-6 hours without touch-ups. It’s a record among all my other matte lippies. Snacks, coffee, meals, kisses - it'll stay through everything. I’m sure that it can even live through any hot summer party and not smudge or fade an inch.
Yes, it does have a significant drawback, but I’m ready to forgive it for all the advantages it provides me with.
