Hello everybody! Today I’d like to continue talking about the NYX Cosmetics products and this time I want to make a review of the cutest palettes Away We Glow Illuminating Powder.
The palettes are actually small squares with four shades inside. Even though they named the product “illuminating powder”, it’s still something more for me. I use it not only as an illuminating powder, but also as a highlighter, blush and bronzer. I can also use it as an eyeshadow after all, as there are so many shades to choose from. All the shades look interesting and beautiful.
I have my palettes in the following colors:
01 Summer Reflection
As you can see it from the photos, the palettes have catching and bright names, which is for a reason. Look at the Sunset Blvd palette! It has some unexpected yet very interesting shades.
One palette of four shades has 8.76g of the contents and costs $10.
Ingredients, description, manufacturer is all given here in the photo:
Swatches of the product on my skin:
At first I applied the Summer Reflection shades and then used the Sunset Blvd palette:
~ 01 Summer Reflection ~
It has a very tender and gentle color selection with one very unusual shade which is terracotta and brick-like in terms of the color.
One shade is shimmer infused, two satin-textured and one is matte. The matte shade is the most difficult to pick, as it’s very tightly pressed in the palette. I can say you that not at every brush will cope with it.

This palette also has a very beautiful color range. There are purple and tomato-like shades here.
Here you can find a bright champagne-colored highlighter, a bronzer which shows satin finish on my skin, and also a matte tomato shade and lilac color that seems to have blue undertones. It’s just a bewildering color.
I don’t find it handy that the shades don’t have separate refill pans. If I want to apply a blusher shade with a usual blush brush, then it’s so easy to touch the nearest shade as well, which I don’t actually need on my cheeks.
By the way, they also advise us mixing the colors together. Maybe this is why they decided to place the shades this way, without the pans, I mean.
The wear time of each shade is very good. There isn’t a shade to fade during the day and the wear time doesn’t even depend on where you apply it.
I did this positive-looking and sun-inspired makeup look with this palette. I used the shades from both of the palettes.
In general I can count the idea of the product to be interesting, as it’s such a need sometimes to replace some cosmetic products with these multi-taskers. With this, I conclude that the palettes are super travel-friendly.
